My first post for some advise.
I started my challenge on April 8, 2013. On the last weight training day for week 4, which was Friday May 3, 2013, I finished the training took my shoes off, stripped to throw my workout clothes in the wash. (I work out at home) Took off in a hurry to run upstairs to get a shower and prep my meal. When in passing I kicked my workout equipment breaking one toe and a bone in my foot, go figure!!!
It took 10 days to get the swelling completely out of my foot and only did my upper body weight training this past Wednesday (May 15) and lower body today. I am having difficulty getting my cardio in for now and will see if I can do any of it next week.
I have been great up until this point not missing any workouts, keeping meals and meal plans going and actually seeing some great results, taking pictures every week.
I am still going to continue with the program but wanted to know if I should still follow through with the contest / challenge as I at this point have 10 weeks now instead of 12? depending what can be done in the next week. The plan is to keep doing what I can for now and am aggravated at the bone head move that created this in the first place. Legs are the largest muscles on our bodies and burn the most energy for creating a lean body. Not being able to use them effectively at this point is somewhat of a challenge in itself but am determined to complete the first 12 weeks and beyond.
Hey houligan, stay strict with your diet and I believe you will finish very well. I know I have read in some of the champions stories of missed weeks of workouts and they still ended up a champion!
That was the plan just wanted to make sure by missing time would not effect outcome. Will make every workout count for sure.
