  • Yep Rachel looks absolutely fantabolous!!

Was just downstairs getting laundry out and D2 asks why I have those rubber tubes on the ol Power Tower, I tell her that it's to help me with chinups. She's like you are trying chinups? And then I show her, 1 1/2 assisted bit it's a start! Will try again in the a.m.!

  • James,

Thank you for your inspirational post. I actually followed the rule of putting my scale away, but I had always used it as a gauge, and I think that I might benefit from pulling it back out and using it as you do. I just needed someone to say it was ok!! :)

I think that having that data input each day or few days might really help my progress. Thank you for the "permission!"

"The limits you are living with right now, in every aspect of your existence, have been created by your mind. They are perceptions. And they are holding you back. You are capable of far more than you think you are." -Bill Phillips

  • Awww thanks Kimmie,  I am in the camp that thinks that the scale is my friend.  It gives me scientific (non-emotional) feedback on my efforts.  While I do weigh myself every morning, I judge my real results as a combination of things including how clothes fit, how I feel and how I perceive myself in the mirror.  The day-to-day weight is just data, the spreadsheet I keep is tracking on a weekly basis.

Scale weight alone can be deceiving as we all know as our musculature changes.  Now that being said my main goal is to get smaller, leaner, thinner.  On some subsequent challenge, I might decide that it is time to bulk up and go for big muscles.  Having been fat all my life, I want that gone before I move to the next level whatever that is.

  • Okay, she is probably going to kill me, but.....Check out Legs' pic on T.com (transformation.com) She is "Cathie" on there...
