That is exactly how I feel. This is LIFE. We have to live life. I may not drop 10 lbs in the next 12 weeks but everyday I am making positive changes and the weight will come off in time. I have to have patience. I know that. I am working on so many areas of myself along the way, the weight loss will be a bonus!
Well I have been torn between adding in some starchy carbs in my last two meals. I am wondering if I just follow exactly as stated maybe I could have even better results. Problem is...I am afraid.
As much mental change I made in my first 12 weeks, I am still a recovering carb-o-phobe and I am scared to add those carbs in. Right now I have just veggies as the carb in meal 5 & 6, nothing like sweet potato, quinoa etc. I have seen changes, just not what I expected. SO, It was suggested by the people at EAS to add a starchy carb to each of those meals. I am scared but I think I will try.
Any assistance, experience or advice is appreciated...
Today was great though. Did LBWO, put in Front Squats... haven't done those in months. A nice change and challenge.
Also, I have entered in a biography if anyone is interested in my journey...
So today was another HIIT cardio. Went well. I did the stationary bike using the WATTS program. Pretty brutal.
I find I am REALLY hungry on cardio days...why is that? Does anyone else experience this? What do you do?
Anyway, tomorrow is UBWO and then Saturday is my free day!!! For some reason, I am quite looking forward to my free day...probably due to part of the month I 'm approaching (sorry TMI!). I will have a bit of chocolate (as that is my main craving) and get that out of my system.
Otherwise, W1C2 almost finished...
Had a great UBWO today...hit some new highs!! Was proud of that!
Here comes the weekend! Some needed rest from the gym tomorrow. Also free day. Sunday back to the grind stone!! Looking forward to another good week!
Any opinions about the starchy carbs in meal 5&6?? come on Orrin, BD Mom, Deb MO, all the lifers...I know you guys are out there...help!!!!
So I have joined the Coffee Crew Challenge...looking forward to great results in this C2 with all the motivation and support from those guys and gals! I am honored to be in a challenge with them!!
Looking forward to great things!!
Had a great HIIT incline treadmill run today...one of the trainers at the gym suggested I try this:
warm up, then increase speed to 5.2 mph and incline to 7.0%, do that for 1 minute and then bring the incline down to 1% for a minute. Alternate for the 20 minutes and last interval I did a 10% incline to hit that 10!! My goodness! What a workout. Key for me was not touching the sides of the treadmill...DONE!! Woo hoo!!
Gonna try the early am , empty stomach skipping rope HIIT on Thursday am. Will let you know how it goes...
