Entering the second half of the challange and am excited to report I broke the 180"s and as of this AM weigh 179.4.
Reached a H.P. of 6.1 on the treadmill.
How's everyone else doin?
Florabelle this is a great thread! And congrats on moving down to the 170's! I can relate...two weeks ago i was at 181 and I was thrilled to get to the 170's!
I know we should only weigh ourselves at the 4wk, 8wk and 12 week mark. And I am not obsessed with the scale. But since my friend has joined weight watchers we made an agreement to share our weight with each other each Thrursday and to go over how we did for the week.
So last Thursday I weighed in at 179.5 and this morning I am at 178.00! I lost 1.5lbs. I am happy with every pound!
This is my first week of BFL. ( although I did a week of pre-run before my official start week)

Yesterday I passed the halfway mark, too. I have lost 12 pounds of scale weight so far and I can feel my muscles getting firmer. Can't wait until I can start to see definition! These next six weeks are going to show amazing results, I just know it! Way to go florabelle and anewday!
Patience, persistence, and hard work pay off.
Tomorrow is last day of Week 11...
I am squatting my body weight...

Love the graph, how can I get one?
They have them on bodyspace.bodybuiling.com or I use microsoft excel. myplate also has one.
Great thread and great progress everyone!
Okay. . . So I started, 6 weeks ago, weighing around 217 lbs (@ 5'11"). My body fat % was between 28-29%. I was wearing a pant size of 36 in dress pants.
When I started the challenge, my tread mill high was a six for a 10 on the intensity index. I went about 1.25 miles in 20 minutes.
I'm now hovering at around 198 - 199 lbs. scale weight. I plan on checking my bodyfat % tonight. I'm down a pant size(maybe close to 2) and a notch on the belt.
I'm increasing my weights nearly every workout and my cardio has improved! Last night, I hit a 9.0 on the tread mill and made it 2.09 miles.
I begin my 7th week on Monday! I am really loving this challenge!
BryanL!!! You look amazing! Congrats to everyone on the progress. I needed this post tonight!
I am about to finish week 8 in my first challenge. I have held steady at 150.5 since week 4. I don't weigh myself very often, so it hasn't bugged me too much, but since it's "miracle week 8" I got on the scale Wednesday...150.5- no change. Dang. I have worked SOOO HARD. Then yesterday 149. HOORAY- into the 140's!! Then this morning...148!! I must have stepped on and off the scale a hundered times and I still can't believe it.
I have plenty of fat that still needs to be toned so I am really looking forward to a great last 4 weeks to see the results. Already gearing up for C2. This is a lifestyle I love...even with it's ups and downs!!

My FOURTH Challenge: May 23-Aug. 14, 2011. Began First BFL Challenge on June 21, 2010
Jen 4 Life
Sticking to the program for 8 weeks is an awesome accomplishment! From what I've seen, amazing things happen in the last 4 weeks!
I'm a super-newbie, just started 3 days ago. The hardest part was starting before my kitchen was prepared. There wasn't enought prep work done for healthy meals. My challenge is time-4 kids and working full time make it hard to prepare food that the whole family is not eating . I'm happy to say that I finally have things laid out. I can eat healthy in the craziest of circumstances. I even figured out how to relatively eat the same meal as the rest of the family at dinner time only limiting it to the authorized meals only. Today was a good day! Congratulations to everyone else!!
First challenge, and middle of week 6: VERY happy to report I lost 6lbs and 5cm around my waist !!!!!! Yeah!
And I can see definition in my leg muscles! I have to admit I have been a bit skeptical about the physical changes the program "promises" so I am thrilled.
Very good job everyone!
