ayummymommy - I've done several challenges and I still have an issue with a distorted body image whenever TOM is around. Only once or twice have I been able to deal with it positively and not worry about it. I know it's just all the stuff that comes along with it and that it will be gone in no time. I'm sure you know this too. :-)
Michelle - Glad your mother is improving.
Love you some you...PERSEVERE!
Holy heck.....just caught up on 10 pages of posts. That was a lot of reading!!
Well, week 4 was not very good for me, but thanks for the shout out Legsy! I did complete all of my workouts, just didn't do the best on eating. But, Week 5 will be better. I am still tired, but hoping I will wake up tomorrow feeling refreshed.
Did my Week 4 measurements and weight. Happy with the results after my half *$@ed effort this week. I know exactly what my problem was and I'm bound and determined not to let it happen again.
I felt like I "deserved" to have some chocolate on Tuesday and again on Friday. And then, my brothers and hubby make homemade maple syrup. I have three older brothers and LOVE LOVE LOVE them to death, but they are drinkers. So, last night we had a "boiling party." For those of you not familiar with it, this time of year, you "tap" maple trees and collect the sap from them. When it is really cold at night and warms up during the day, it flows like crazy. Well, they had over 200 gallons of sap to boil. They boiled all day until it "evaporated" and thickened enough to call it syrup. It really is actually fun and I love spending time with my brothers. But, I had a few beverages and that was it. Just started eating. Agh!
But, this week is a new week. And, I printed out Mo and Yummom's advice to Marian, as I feel I need to "tighten up" on my eating a little bit. I eat 2% cheese two to three times a day. So, I was educated reading those posts!!
Well, have a great Sunday everyone!
Ok, got the cardio in, yesterday was my free day here goes the stats
1 mile in 11min 30 seconds
1.71 miles in 20 mins
3.1 miles in 38 min
Ok broke two records today, my fastest mile time and my fastest 5K time whooo whew
Now the bad news did my measurements and I have not lost one thing and to be really honest pretty bummed about it, not that I am going to let it get me down but I have been pushing and eating cleaner than ever before and not to see any results is quite the bummer. I guess I am going to have to just keep pushing harder.
Ok, need to go get some errands done - see you all tomorrow!!!

Oh, how do you merge pictures? Anyone have a sight that does this?
Meredith - Are you trying to do side-by-side photos?
Yeah. Oops....guess merge wasn't the best word to use.
Taylor!! HELLO?!?!
You broke 2 personal records woman! THAT is progress!! You would not have done that had you not done HIIT properly and groomed some muscles to achive that speed.
You DID progress. You HAVE results to be proud of.
Smarten up. :)
I for one am proud of you and I KNOW I am not alone.
Now pick up that face and walk into week 5 ready to own it. It's yours!!
Don't continue to underestimate yourself and think of yourself less than others ... you're not. Continue to chase those personal demons my friend. You are worth it.

Legs...from being there...MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY!!! Great song choice!!!
Taylor T...keep working and working hard. DO NOT LET NUMBERS GET YOU DOWN. It is a process at times a SLOW process. BUT look deep inside and realize this is a life style change. YOUR lifestyle change. Slow and steady wins the race. Sometimes it takes a bit for the numbers to start to show but THEY WILL. You are making the proper changes inside, they will show on the outside in time. Patience sista!! You can do this. Just be true to yourself!!
Chompion: "Jessica - Hi! I think your AR is about done!!!!"
You think? I wondered if AR stood for something else when I saw this. :)

Oh yeah, coach Mo, Burpee's done.
You can scream, yell, swear, shout, cry, whimper, grunt, bleed, puke, fart or pass out. JUST DON’T QUIT!!!
Meredith - Here's how I do them:
Assuming you have Microsoft programs on your computer, here is how to put your photos side-by-side:
- Insert the photos to PowerPoint
- Line them up side-by-side
- Group them together
- Save the first slide as a picture file (.jpg)
- Close PowerPoint
- Open the file in Picture Manager
- Crop if needed
Hope this helps.
Awesome Sharon WW - got em in there and done!
Side by side just helps so much with seeing changes. I would have never noticed them if I hadn't put them side by side.
Thanks again!
Thanks Legs, Donald, and ayummymummy!!! I know you guys are right and I know that in my heart just have really been pushing harder than ever so was really hoping for some results but they will come I will be going into week 5 with just as much drive!!!!

Im a little disappointed. I videod my burpees this morning with my favorite "I love MO" shirt on and I cant load it. Boo.
They were done, though - just for the record. TWICE. (dammit) :)

My workouts have been going very well. Each workout I’m doing more and pushing harder than the one before. Overall my back is cooperating. I’m a little sore today. Not sure if it was the additional running yesterday or not. My arms are still sore from Friday's UBWO. My mind is so in the game now. Asking myself those questions throughout the day and keeping my reasons for these challenge constantly in view is making SUCH a difference.
Mazjaz – So glad to hear from you! I’m loving your positive do-what-it-takes attitude. Can’t wait to see those pictures!
Taylor t – Head up girl. It’s only week 4. Time….clean eating….hitting 10s….12 weeks. Happy thoughts your way!
Meredith – Homemade maple syrup? Reading your post transported me back to Little House on the Prairie. :-D Yum!!!!! So, you’re rolling into week 5. Like you said, tighten it up. It would be so very miserable if you went the whole 12 weeks and regretted not giving your best. Careful, MO will be sending extra burpees your way. Ha ha.
Lady Georgia – You and Legs and so many others on here are running maniacs! I hope your bone scan came back with good news. Sorry if I missed that on here. And eating for the last couple of days have been great! I did enjoy my free day but I kept my promise of NO SWEETS. And I feel so much the better for it. I was able to enjoy salisbury steak and mashed potatoes. Because of not eating any sugar I felt totally in check and didn’t go crazy on anything. I think I just might do no sugar for the next free day.
Donald – So, you’re slacking huh? Drop and give me 50 burpees. Yeah right. You’ll be getting those full fledged FREAK certifications soon. Your commitment to walk in the uncomfortable zone will be giving you some amazing results. Way to go bud.
Legs – Bummer you can’t load your burpee video. You’d show us how it’s done. You’re such an amazing inspiration. Keep up the great work.
Sharon WW and YumDebs – Sharon I’ve seen your pictures and you look amazing. And Debs….anyone who can do the HIITs you’re doing has to look great!
