Week (weak) One

  • How I love me some Body For Life! This week I began my "week one", and although I have successfully completed my cardio in good form, I have yet to actually pull off a weight session. Yesterday I was convinced that when I got home, I was going to be taking my precious cat I have had for over 15 years to be put down. It messed with my head all day. Timing for the vet visit pretty much canelled out my gym time, but thankfully she lives to see another day. What I am most proud of, though, is that normally I would have just gone straight home and eaten anything and everything and had a few drinks to boot. But not yesterday! Even though I didn't make it to the gym, I DID stay on track with my nutrition and that is a HUGE ACCOMPLISHMENT for me. :)

    good job on completing week one.  we are all about progress not perfection.  it helps me if i write down with my food log of when i will be doing my workouts.  i also bout some resistant bands, a nice set for those days that just fall apart.  there are some great websites with exercises with the bands.  they work in a pinch.
