I started on the 2nd only had a so-so week. Diet is the killer for me! I tend to binge eat I hope I can do this.
Made it through the day. I had a great work out but eating was more of a challenge. It was my first day off with my husband and he is not doing the program so I definitely need to plan my day better when I'm with him!
@Dan McGrinch hope your day at the park went well !!
@ bring it on - I know it's hard but strive for progress not perfection.
Cardio done for the day. Did all my workouts this week. Saturday's are a huge trap for me eating wise. Need to plan out the day and have food with me during my travels. I did not have an afternoon snack with me yesterday so I stopped in the convenient store next to where I work for a quick snack. I swear these stores are set up for unhealthy eating. It took me 10 minutes to find some almonds and it cost 5 bucks for the can. For those struggling with the diet part we must plan out our meals and snacks because it is easy to get bad food fast. Keep up the fight!!!!!!!
Thanks for asking. My day in the park did go Well. I packed food for dinner and snacks and found a salmon bowl for lunch. The best part, I put a smile on a lot of faces, although I had frown as the Grinch.
Day 6: Six days and six solid workouts. Now I need to healthy for the rest of the day to complete week-1. Tomorrow, an off day and football awaits.
Planning is the key. Make sure you have plenty of healthy fruits and vegetables on hand for snacking. I love consider it cheating when I grab a hand full of carrots or baby tomatoes.
Alright 12/2 Crew, our week-2 is about to begin. Let's Rock!
Had to switch my cardio to today because of icy roads. I will do my LBW tomorrow. Week 2 starts today and this is when it gets harder to stay on track. I am down 7 pounds after week 1. Have a great day everyone!!!
Week two starts today! woohoo...weighed in on Friday morning (my cheat morning) and had lost 4.5pounds!!! I had been looking forward to the cheat day all week and then when it came, since I had seen success on the scale, I didn't go crazy - that's a huge accomplishment for me.
@jmont6767 congratulations on your 7lbs!
Congratulations to @Jmont6767 and @amrfelts on your first week results. Are you going to take a progress picture? I just finished my lower body workout. It looks like we are off to a great start!
Lost 5 lbs my first week!!!
Day 9: Believe it or not, we have already completed more than 10 percent of our journey of transforming into our new bodies in just 12 short weeks. Today, we completed our 8th workout. There are only 72 workouts in the entire program. Anything you do one time, you can do 10 times. We got this!
Day 10: I had to move my upper body workout to late morning today. However, the workout is now complete and I am reaping extra energy from it. Now cooking up salmon for lunch. Keep up the good work everybody. It appears we all are seeing positive results.
Day 11: Very solid cardio workout this morning, but felt like I could of pushed myself harder. Sometimes when doing cardio, I zone out and the time just passes. I went through the routine, got a good sweat with, and achieved an elevated pulse and heart rate, but with more focus could have worked harder and got more out of it.
Last night, did present a food challenge. The plan was to go to one of our favorite restaurants after a few errands. I already knew I was going to order the salmon plate which comes with brown rice and veggies.
However, the errands ran much longer than anticipated. By the time we made it to the restaurant it was 7:30 pm and there was half hour wait. Suddenly my need to eat healthy and my pregnant wife a 2-year old daughter's need to eat NOW were in conflict.
The only viable option was Soup Plantation, an eating establishment that promises healthy eating but with many pitfalls.I always seem to over do it there and the breads and desert often lead to meal that really is not all that healthy.
We were without options, however, so off to Soup Plantation we went..
I am proud to report ------ I DID GREAT!
I used spinach for my greens and loaded up with veggies. The biggest obstacle was finding a protein which was had by scraping the bottom of the chicken noodle soup for big chunks of chicken. I skipped the breads and the desert and even drank a 23 oz bottle of water. I walked out of the restaurant feeling full and still on track.
