Begining challenge no. 2!

    Here I go again!  I'm really excited about this and will be working really hard the next 12 weeks to get to where I want to be!  I got excellent results my 1st challenge and now my goal is to really fine tune those results!  I'm talking 6pack abs baby!!   I know I can do it and I'm really looking forward to this journey! 

     It's been a few weeks since I finished my last challenge and I've really done well!  I have had a few more free days than I would have on the challenge but over all stuck with exersizing 6 days a week and eating clean 90% of the time.  I just ran my first 5k race this last Saturday and finished in 00:24:09 77th out of 621, 14th Woman out of 400 and 3rd place in womans age group 30-34!!!  Wooo Hooo! I'm on cloud 9!  I have to thank the BFL program for getting me to that point! 

    Here's to another challenging and wonderful 12 weeks!

  • Yes Ma'am!  I'm really looking forward to this challenge.  It's going to be another great journey!  I've got a 10k race to run at the end of this one too!

  • Awesome work on the 5K Rachel.  It feels great becoming an athlete, yeah?  I think I am going to start a 2nd challenge with the goal of size and strength next week.  So, we are very close in starting our 2nd challenges.  Though our goals may be different, we can cross the finish line almost together.

    Yes it is an amazing feeling to become an athlete!  I'm a runner and I LOVE it!!  I never in a million years would have ever thought I would become a runner.  It's amazing the inner transformation and the confidence that you gain doing BFL!  I'm a completely different person than I was a few months ago!  I'm so looking forward to this challenge!  

    We will finish together Stronger than ever before!!!!  

  • Rachel-Congrats on your 5K! I ran my first one too on Saturday, 2nd in the 40-49 age group! Your time is wonderful!!! Beat mine by about 10 min!  Might be doing another one next month on a flatter surface! Yes, without BFL I would have never have entered it!  

    Good luck with your 2nd challenge and will be looking forward to seeing that 6pack!! :)
