Just planning to start my Body For Life Challenge and I am unsure how to log some of the recipes I found on the website. How can we know our calorie intake and protein/carb/fat ratio on some of these recipes?
If this is your first time with BFL, I would suggest eating according to the original BFL book. Save the recipes for free day and future maintenance challenges. Portion sizes and simple eating will yield the best results in most cases, because recipes (even those on the BFL site) lend themselves to hidden calories. Portion of protein, portion of carbs, veggies and you're good to go!
I agree with what DaveND said. A lot of these recipes were developed for the maintenance stage and will not do you any favors during your challenge.
