Hi everyone! Starting the thread and titled it "End of Week 5!" so it covers the whole weekend. How is everyone doing? I had some setbacks and missed 2 workouts this week. But made up one yesterday (LBWO) and will make up UBWO today with my cardio. It's all about getting it done AND not quitting or staying "forget it, I am starting over". No way, no how. This is almost week 6!! I forge on. Plus, it is teaching me not to just give up and throw in the towel when things get tough. I can honestly say this past week has been THE most stressful in my career as a realtor. 12-14 hour days, not able to sleep well, and completely overwhelmed with major stress that physically affected me. But thanks to a few supportive mentors in my office, and my family, I held it together and see the light at the end of the tunnel. SO....my point is, we keep going. We don't jump off the mountain halfway up the climb!! In the words of my old trainer who I can still hear in my head...."Just get it done. Get in and out of the gym and get it done every day." In our case, it's under 30 minutes on HIIT day, and 45 mins. for strength days. I try to remember that when I feel overwhelmed and that I just don't have the time. "Just get it done".
Is anyone noticing they aren't nearly as hungry?? I had a shrimp app, roasted vegetables, and Fruitti De Mare (grilled seafood in a light broth) and could only have a few bites of the entree! The shrimp and vegetables filled me up. I took the rest home for lunch today.
I'll weigh in this weekend and do BF%. Have a great day everyone and please check in!! Don't give up if you haven't posted for a while, please come back and share...and we can all support each other.
