I have been pouring over the book, made schedules for each day, bought a treadmill, dusted off my dumbbells......and started today with cardio! I was just so curious about only 20 minutes, and wow, my legs were shaking when I was done!
The past two years or so, I seemed to have just given up on myself, now I am depressed over it and want to get back into the game of life, and most importantly like myself again. My clothes are not fitting as I have gained about 22 pounds. It is hot out, but I won't go sleeveless anymore, my arms are horrible! It doesn't help that all my close friends live in another state, so no friendly nudges from them, as they can't see exactly what I look like right now.
I just want to know if this can work for a 57 year old, and would like to have the support of other 50ish ladies!

I have created a support group on Facebook called Body for Lifers!
I have just started the Body For Life program (8/15/12) and know I need an easily accessible support group. I would really like to have a forum where questions can be answered, encouragement given, progress celebrated and ideas generated. I know that over the next 12 weeks it will be easy to get stuck in a rut either with eating or training and having a group of fellow Body for Lifers will be invaluable!
