Starting today at 246 and only 64 inches tall. I know 12 weeks will make a difference and yet feeling overwhelmed!
Congratulations on starting! It is normal to feel overwhelmed but you are in the right place. There are many good people here with lots of support, advice and encouragement. During my first challenge I kept this phrase in mind every day: "Focus on progress, not perfection". Changing your life is not easy. There will be setbacks. Times when you fall back into old habits or feel lost. That is normal too. Every person you see that had made successful transformation has had moments and days of self doubt and feeling of just wanting to quit. We all feel that sometimes. The successful person is the one that keeps going.
know you have an inexhaustible well of inner strength to draw upon and you CAN make all the changes you desire for your life!
If I can help with your feelings of being overwhelmed, just post any questions or concerns. Myself, or one of the many other wonderful people here, will be glad to share our experiences and thoughts.
You can do this! :)
You can do it! Just take it one day at a time. And just like Orrin said "Focus on progress, not perfection". Have you purchased the "Success for Life Journal" yet? I have found it to be one of the most important tools I have during this journey.
Hello and Welcome to BFL Lostmom, Have courage and resolve and I know you can do this. I started at about 277 lbs at a height of only 70 inches and I am now down to about 226 lbs at the same height in just two challenges and less than two years (one challenge a year for me) and just today and yesterday I got compliments from two fellow castmembers about how much weight I have lost and how great I look now compared to then. SOOOO keep moving forward and perservere and you will do great too!! Best wishes from WPBILL.
Hi Lostmom
I too started very overweight (and about 5'6") I dont weigh myself ever ever lol but i do know that I am in my second challenge week 6 and feeling and looking WAY better then I did on January 1st when it was day one of challenge 1. It is very overwhelming but as each day comes & goes and you feel a little stronger and the clothes start to get a little bigger, you realize that this program does work and will give you what you give to it
Best of luck to you and I hope you decide to go for it!!!!!!
Yay for you lostmom!! Just take it one day at a time, use the plan, post it everywhere, do the exercises even when you really don't feel like it or think you can't, you CAN do them!!
