I am 24 years old and have spent the past 7 years after high school graduation with my weight sky-rocketing and my health plummeting. I decided 7 weeks ago that I would take no more of it. I spent the first 7 weeks doing nothing but calorie counting and doing cardio and I have lost 25 lbs in that time period alone. About 2 weeks ago I re-discovered my Body-for-life book that my brother gave me 3 years ago and ate it up! I have a good start and I'm ready for body-for-life to help me get to the next level! Did my first gym weight training yesterday on upper body, first time in a gym at all in 4 years. Today's Cardio went wonderfully. I'm hoping that anyone else who is starting will join in. I'll give all the support I can and I'd love any support and accountability anyone is willing to give. I know that there will be times that I will need someone to help hold me accountable and possibly even to bounce ideas off of who has gone through a challenge before. If you want to help me out, or want to help form a group for community support let me know!! Thanks and I look forward to all of our success!!
Hi there! There's a bunch of us who started on 5/14 but were discussing on another thread. We've since moved over to Facebook. If you look through the postings under "May 14th2012 My BFL start date (first timer)" under Getting Started, you see instructions for joining our Facebook group there if you're interested. Hope to see you there!
I thought it had been six years but I just realized its been nearly ten years since I fell off the wagon I know I can do this because I completed the challenge then and stuck with it for over one year. But Im sure im not the only woman in the world that got married, had children, and forgot about myself and didnt make my health a priority the result of that has caused me chronic pain and depression so here I am because I want my physical body I had then with no pain and I was hotttt lol.So I need to be on here everyday and getting motavation to stick with it and never give up......so im hoping I make some workout partners just to chat with and record progress thanks for reading
