Ok Im gonna need some extra support next week, starting on a week that I travel but I travel 2-3x a month so I can no longer use that as an excuse there will never be a perfect time! I somewat started this week making small changes to the diet and doing the workout so far so good and I have a plan for next week so just gotta stick to it!
I love the excitement everyone has! Let's keep it up. I'm sure we are all expecting high days and low days, but I feel like..as long as we stick to it...we will not only be living our lives....we will be thriving! Let's support one another and if anyone has tips...please feel fee to share :) Monday is just a few days away!

Do you all have the "Eating For Life" Cook book?? The Golden Pancake recipe is phenomenal! I make it with a packet or 2 of stevia and use Josephs Sugar free syrup on top...its free of sucralose and nutrasweet. I would love to share recipes and meal ideas with everyone!
I don't have the cookbook, but have looked at it before. I love the pancakes. I actually tried stevia today. I can't say I am a big fan, but maybe it is an acquired taste? I found just a little worked better than a whole packet in my coffee. :0

I am a mother of three adorable kids that keep my life happy and very busy, as many of you. But I think its time to organized my life and do more for myself, getting healthy and lean will be ideal, so here we go with you in this adventure to a fabulous sucess!! Let's do it!
So..what are your goals?
My current weight is 124. All of my fat is carried in my stomach-I need to find my abs again (after having to kids via C-section) and gain muscle and curves. I don't know how I am going to approach this yet. Obviously there is no such thing as spot reduction, so I hope I don't burn muscle with my cardio...maybe higher weights and less reps when weight training?
FYI -dreading the before pics
I do not have a gym membership, but over the last few months, acquired some great FREE finds like an old total gym and some resistance bands. I also have jump rope, a few free weights and an old treadmill I hope to get up and running in a few weeks.

@GoodByeSaddleBags...the smoking thing is something you never lose, I smoked for almost 20 years and quit 6 years ago, I still think about it after every meal, when I get in a car to sit in traffic and when days are tough....I use an electric cigarette now with no nicotine.....highly recommend it.
As for the 5K that is an awesome first goal and easy to to reach in a month, even if you can't run the entire thing, completing it is the key!!

Good for you! A Facebook page sounds like fun! I'm doing my meal planning today! I'm going to try the shrimp scampi and Ranch Chicken salad recipes out of the cookbook and I might pick up some Myoplex light premade protein shakes...I've used them before and they taste really good...I've purchased them at Target and Walmart...any of you trying any supplements?? I'm also going to spend some time journaling over the next 2 days to get my brain and spirit committed...I really want this!! Did any of you register yet? If so, did you register via online or through the mail?
