I am starting today - heading to the gym right away and super stoked. I have tried this challenge so many times and failed so many times, but this time is different!!!! I no longer want to be skinny fat - I want to be strong and lean!!!
I am a 34yr old female, 5'3", 130-135lbs and size 8/10 pants. I will NOT be this size for my 35th birthday!!!!
But I still need support for the days I don't feel so motivated.

This is my 3 rd challange. I am looking to lose approx 15 lbs and drop a couple of dress and Bra cups, LOL.
I began today with the 5/25 cardio. Tomorrow will be mu upper body w/o.
My problem in the past has always been what to eat....I hope to gain some great insight with you all.
I am 56 years old and have my daughters wedding to attend in Dec.

I'm excited that I found this forum. I have completed one challenge previous to starting this one, and having a group of people to motivate each other and give ideas helped so much!
I'm a graduate student, and unfortunately my insane schedule has given me the excuse that I haven't had time to workout, and all of the results that I saw from my last challenge (I completed it the end of November last year) have all but disappeared. I'm very close to being done with school and will be making some pretty big changes in my life in the next few months, and I want my health and fitness to be among those changes.

I had to do the lower body workout tody since I haven't been cleared to do any upper body stuff yet as I continue to rehab after shoulder surgery. It felt awsome to get back at it!!

Hello every one i just started today as well. My wife and i just got back from vacation in Mexico and i looked at our pictures "ouch" lol. Im 31 and weigh 285 lbs, ive done this diet before when i was 20 and it worked great. Any way im looking forward to this first 12 weeks and wish all of us good luck. :)
Glad I found this forum. I am Al, from The Netherlands (Europe). Loving the challenge and started yesterday. Would love to stay in touch and share experiences. Had a very serious training today, resulting in painful muscles today. What a great feeling to start BFL. Very best regards from Amsterdam
I started this morning also, so I'd love to join the discussion! I've never tried BFL before, but I know the benefits of strength training -- and I'm hoping this will keep me FOCUSED to reach the GOAL. I'm slightly intimidated by y'all who have only 10 lbs to lose -- I need to lose 30!
In my 50's, I've just been "busy" and the pounds have crept on and the tone has gone away... I don't like what I see in the mirror, but more importantly, I want to be HEALTHY before I get into my 60's! (which is weird to even say out loud... LOL)
I'm a Texas gal who lives in the country, so I'll be working out at home. My biggest weakness is planning ahead, so any and all ideas & suggestions will be great to read.
