Hello! My husband and I are starting tomorrow as well. We plan on checking in daily if possible. Hopefully there will be as many of us posting in 12 weeks as there are today! Best of luck all & we'll see on here!
I am starting tomorrow as well! Had great success the first time I used this plan but didn't enter the challenge. Sadly I have gained back everything and then some... here's to losing it all with y'all!
Yeah, I gained mine back too. Ugh! So frustrating, but I know this works so I'm doing it again. Last time I started at 240 (I'm 6'7") and got down to 220. Now I'm like 234 and ready to do it again. Glad we have somany people starting at the same time. Let's do this!!
Hey Need2Succed, I'm starting BfL tomorrow as well. Researching and getting mentally prepared now. Will be in the gym first thing in the morning. Really excited about this new phase of my life---it is long overdue! Much success to both of us!

I'm starting today, I've tried this on more then one occasion, but always seem to fall off of the wagon somehow. The birth of my daughter was the kick in the *** that I needed. I'm going to be following a slightly different workout plan then what is outlined. We shall see how this goes, will try to check in on a daily basis. Just want to say good luck to everyone, and if we all work together, we can do this.

Hey, Jeff, I'm right there with you; my kids have definitely been the inspiration (or "kickintheass" as you put it) for me doing this.

So far great start - but I'm only about 2 hours in. I'll be doing my workouts in the evening after work. I think that's the one thing that makes me a bit nervous, will I find all the equipment I need, will I do them correctly - and will I be able to walk afterwards :)

I'm working out after work today too. So far, one meal down. Turkey sausage patty, slice of American cheese on whole wheat English muffin. I can tell u right now the water thing is hard for me. I never drink water!!!
Day 0 (yesterday) I took my pictures and measurements. YUCK!!!
Day 1 is so far a total success! I already have my upper body work out in. (I just got an iPhone and the JEFit app to track my lifts. Takes a while to learn the app, but today it worked. Listened to Billy Joel!)
I also made my first protein smoothie/shake to drink afterwards, and have a nice packed lunch!
My wife/kids deserve a healthy, active dad/husband.
I really love it that we have our own group! I really hope to get to know lot's of you!!!
Great to see so many of us starting today, I have had 3 meals already and don't feel hungry which is good. Planning to work out after work tonight which I know will be one of my main challenges.
