I am starting on November 1st. I do not feel very motivated right now except that I have gained 20 pounds in the last year and a half. I was hoping to find a partner so we can motivate each other on this journey.
Although I already started this week, I will be checking your posts to watch your progress and motivate you. Just do it girl...
Hi Wendy78,
I plan to start on 11/1 also. I am going to use the next week to get myself back to the gym, work on my form, using light weights, and getting used to the diet. Then officially start on November 1, or really 10/31.
Let's do this!

I'll be starting on the 1st!

I will also be starting on November 1st and would love to check in and help motivate. In the past year, stress has gone up while my exercise and diet have gone down hill. With a plan plan to lose 25-35lbs I would love some additional motivation would be great!
am starting 11/1 as well. i am not sure where to locate the instructions to proceed? thanks, anyone!
Hi I am for 11.1
I have started today 30th October 2011 :) so might join you guys....... anyone else worried about christmas and stuff during the challenge???
Wendy78, I plan to start on the 14th, and much like you I'm not entirely motivated right now. Even though I'm starting a bit later than you (due to a conference out of town), I would love to check in with you, and track our progress!! Best of luck to you!!
Hey all you November 1 people. This challeng is sooooo AWSOME!!!!!! I did it last year and lost 15 pounds, after the challenge I lost another 14. No kidding. I also ran my first half Marathon at age 45 in April and my second one in October. I feel like I'm getting WAY off track for the past month and want to build more muscle and eat nice and clean again.
Last year when I started I really didn't think it would work as great as the pictures in the book and on the site. I also didn't think I would finish the challenge. One week lead to another and before I knew it I was half way through.
The weight loss was amazing. I couldn't wait to get up in the morning and weigh myself. My daughter ended up hiding the scale for me.
Anyway....your in the right place, and THIS FORUM and The Coffee Crew forum are instrumental. Look at my profile pics.
You can all do it. See ya. ;) LaurieLou

Jen - Don't worry about Christmas and Thanksgiving. You always have a free day you get to pick which day of the week works for you. I like mine on a Sunday. But...If Christmas is on Saturday and you want to eat a special Christmas meal you make that day your free day and eat clean on Sunday.
And more good news....every day you wake up you get a new day to try your best and work the program as closely as possible.
You can do it You can do it!!!!!
Hi everyone,
I am starting today and thought I'd join you guys. I'm a bit nervous about it all cos I did this 11 years ago when I was 25 when the challenge was pretty new and huge back then.
Back then I was already quite fit and slim but wanted to transform myself to a leaner self. I was unfortunately not in the right mind frame though (low self esteem and obsessed with perfection beyond what was normal) . I was just an insecure 20 something female.
I suffered from depression about 7 years ago and put on 25 kgs in 6 months (65kgs to 90kgs) I lost all motivation.
I am now completely a different person. Happy, healthy (still a bit overweight but dropped 10 kgs) and ready to start this challenge again. It's amazing how much the correct mind frame has to do with this. I have also been focusing on my own business for the last 5 years in which i sit down all day and I have let it take over my life a bit too much so it time to put me first.
I want to feel energised and healthy with lots of energy.
My problem that I still carry is emotional eating so that is probably one of my biggest challenges I would like to overcome. Is anyone else in the same boat as me?
The other challenge for me is starting things and then giving up before the end. That is why I am on here to keep the support going.
I like your quote LaurieLou..."If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always have". That is me for the last 7 years. I am out to change that starting today!!!!
Good Luck everyone and I hope to chat to you all during this awesome transformation
