My name is Candace. I'm a 27 year old female looking to make significant changes in my life. I've struggled with my weight and body image for years, but that ends now. I had a good friend who took this challenge and WOW-that's really all I can say. I'm really looking forward to this challenge but I often struggle on my own. I'm looking for some people-women and men-who are going through this same thing and looking to join me in the challenge for moral support and encouragement as well as the opportunity to swap recipes and food journals. Who is with me?
Me! I want to start in a few days. I'm a 24 year old female and I should be loving my body at this point in my life :) I've always struggled with weight. I halfway did a challenge a couple years ago and lost 10 lbs just from healthy eating. I've since gained it back +15, and would really like to lose it. I'm a great cheerleader and need super easy eating ideas since I'm on my feet at work, and would love someone to share it with!
I also run quite a bit and still gain weight despite my running! So I'm looking for a way to fix that.
Awesome! I'm so excited we can take this journey together! I'm starting on monday so that I can take the next several days to read the book-cover to cover even though I read it several years ago- as well as take the time to make a menu for my first week and go grocery shopping in order to set myself up for a great week. I'm also about to starting my blog posting again on www.andlifesadance.blogspot.com. I'll be posting my workouts, my daily eating, as well as any recipes I use. It may be easier for us to keep up through the blog or even through personal email. thoughts? I'm totally down for the moral support and the team effort-let me know what I can do to best support your efforts!

Since Nov 2010 I have lost 40 lbs on my own but have slowed down now and am stuck where I am at. I would love to have a few people to share this experience with and support eachother. Hi ladies! I am so exited to see there are other people starting the challenge on Monday. My name is Cecilia. I am a 33 year old female, married mother of two and nursing student. I have read the book several times in the past and now I am finally ready to make the change. I am determined to finish the Challenge this time and take this 12 weeks to just focus on myself! I have never registered online or posted before to recieve support and to support others, this time I know I can't do it alone. I currrently weigh 193 pounds (wow I cant believe I just admitted that) I think for years I have been in denial-but no more! I would love to swap emails as well or be a part of a blog!

Welcome, Cecilia! I can't tell you ladies how excited I am to the response this post has received. I put it out there wondering "will anyone respond or will I be doing this on my own"-what a relief that you ladies have reached out and we are going to do this together.

Hey, we don't have to, but a super easy idea is a yahoo group. You can send messages to everyone, have the group send the messages to your regular email (even if it's not yahoo) and super easy. And to Cecilia - I've done the whole nursing school thing and pretty much lived on pop tarts so I get it. Haha. Nice to have you here.

Hi! My name is Monica, I'm 20 years old and I'm starting my challenge on the 19th too. Like all of you ladies, I'm struggling with my weight a long time, and I'm just tired of it. I want to be able to like my image and I'm ready to fight! My highest weight was 185lbs (2 years ago), now I'm 157lbs but I'm stuck. I want to be 135lbs and I want to be toned.
