My wife and i just started bfl four weeks ago, I am 40 and i weighed 186 lbs. when we started and now weigh 173. My goal is to lose some weight & gain muscle. I am worried that i am losing too much weight, i tend to lose 3 to 3 and a half pounds a week...does this mean that i am also losing muscle as well as fat? Also which Myoplex products should I be taking....I'm currently taking the Myoplex light shakes & bars, should I be using Myoplex original? I am new to working out and any information you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
did you happen to have your body fat composition done when you started? If you did then have it checked again. Also how is your energy level? Are you overly fatigued? and How tall are you? sorry for all of the questions.

We have a tanita scale that measures our weight, fat%, muscle etc. but its been saying that for both my wife and I that we are losing muscle. For my wife it has been every week since we started that her fat% is not going down much at all but her muscle goes down every week. She has lost around 8lbs so far. I have lost about 13lbs and my body fat% has gone down from 25% to 20% but my muscle has gone from going up in the second week and then back down to where I started at 5 weeks ago. I am 5'10 and my wife is 5'7. My energy level is good....better than before. Thank you for your help!
