Anyone starting on August 1st?

  • cheatday - I won't be stopping either.  Monday after day-84 Sunday will mark day 1 of round 2 for me.  I'm excited!  I can't wait to look like an after shot and I'm not there yet and don't see how I could be in the next two weeks, so I'm with you.  Back to back to back challenges, if that's what it takes.

dgray1101 - It was a good warm-up.  It feels like everything is in place to hit it harder in round 2.  Eating clean is easy and the workouts are just part of what has become routine.

Hooligan - You were the first name on the list I made of approximately fifty people when this group started.  It's nice to know you're still with us.

UBWO today, maybe kicked off with a little 5-25 cardio, followed up with an abs chaser.

It's a beautiful day.  The sun is shining, the birds are singing, the leaves are changing colour.  Beautiful.

  • One more to add to the August 1st success list:

    dgray1101

TC747, CST, Louis, Stephinator, Monscal, Hooligan, BBrahma, Toots0328, Lindylou, FBA, Cheatday

I'm keeping stephinator on our team because I know she's still doing the challenge, and she's no quitter.

If you've got the my fitness pal app, you can friend me there.

    I'm fleetstreet on fitness pal.

  • Speaking of social networking sites, how many of you use one regularly? I really like the iMap site (map my fitness, map my run, etc.)

  • I am still here, as well! However, I had a tough time after a week in Houston for business....ugh, not sure how people do that all the time but traveling for work IS NOT FOR ME! :-)

Anyway, I've been off the eating plan 3 weeks now but still exercising just not as religiously as before....still lifting weights and still amazed and proud of myself because I did get 45lb plates on for squats! That was one of my goals!!!  I am sorry if it sounds as though I'm bragging but being a female I really wanted to get those 45lb plates on there, they are the biggest ones and I've done it before, so I knew I could do it again - although the "before" was highschool, 20 years ago....I DID IT!  I still have ZERO joint pain - although when I had to stop working out for a week, I started having pain again, which then got me RIGHT back to the gym and fast because I could recall how badly I hurt prior to starting this program.

I'm thinking I'm going to just start up another challenge PRONTO to get back on track...should that be OK since I've had the time off that I have?

I don't care what anyone says - this program works and is AWESOME!  I feel so much better mentally and physically when I exercise & eat the way the plan says to....I just need to not fall off the wagon again. lol

Any advice is great by me....thanks all! I am excited to get back with things the way they were prior to my business trip.

I will be here for a long, long time I am sure.

    :-)

My mind and heart are on the mend and now, thanks to BFL, my body isn't too far behind! :-)

  • I'm still around but have fallen a bit off. I'm gonna get back in the game for the last 2 weeks and will def. be up for another 12. I think I stepped on the scale and hadn't lost but 4 lbs and it was a major demotivator for me.  Ah well, such is life!  Keep going, right? I think eventually it will have to fall off.  So, I'm still chugging along. I changed the workouts up for a couple of weeks and I think that helped me to fall off a bit (although I was still doing something, I think these workouts would've been better changed during the active rest)  All is not lost, though. I am more toned, my cardio is much better (I can run for 10 mins straight I found out...and I hate to run!)...so I will keep at it.

Im glad there are still so many going!!! Good luck all the last 2 weeks!

  • I hope this group can keep trekking along without any tension. I have appreciated everyone's input and I am glad to see there are still so many of us still going... Even if we have made some mistakes and lost track along the way. We are working towards a new lifestyle change so it is about progress, not perfection.

Lindylou, I would be horrible if it came to traveling and eating right. I am not nearly as good on the weekends as I am during the week. I just love the routine I get into during the week.

Stephinator definitly deserves to be part of the group. She created this group didn't she!!?? This whole forum started with her if I remember correctly. She brought A LOT of positive encouraging posts here. I feel aweful she has decided to remove herself.

  • Hi guys

Only 11 days to go for me - had a great workout today & eating well.  Scale & BF% are moving in the right direction so feeling more positive again.  Overall lost 5.6kg of scale weight & down 6.5 BF points.

Good to see that many are still working out & trying to follow the program, as CST said it is about progress on perfection, something I still need to work on!

It is unfortuate that there has been tension on the thread, but I guess not everyone is going to get along all of the time.  I feel for Stephinator & her family situation, that is not something to wish on anyone.

Hope you are all doing well.

    TC

  • I'm with you TC, sure hate the idea of not having Stephinator around, she had plenty of great insight.

13 days to go for me and all those that started August 1st... then as you all know I'm not really going to be stopping with this thing till after my 4th challenge, Monscal is cranking them off too, you gotta do what you can to get a handle of a life of debotchery I suppose ;-)

  • TC747, CST,  Stephinator, Monscal, Hooligan, BBrahma, Toots0328, Lindylou, FBA, Cheatday,  Cheatday thanks for the tip about copy & paste to put names, etc. into a post. I'm a bit technology challenged so glad to learn a new trick. Enjoying your posts, I may also go back to back. I too am sorry Stephinator has signed off, and am sorry for her hardship. I didn't find her old post about how to use this forum discouraging or offensive. This forum is helpful to me. Going for a LBWO this am. Eating clean daily except for the wine. Lost most of the weight; a little still to go. Glad ya'll are here.

  • Hi guys

Only 8 days to go, my last day is Saturday 22nd, so I will definitely let you know how the last few days go.  Looking forward to rest day tomorrow, starting to feel tired this week, not sure what I am going to do for free day, wasn't going to take one but will see how I feel on the day.  Been feeling extra hungry lately how is everyone else going with hunger pangs?

Keep posting & doing you BFL thing

    TC xx

  • So seriously kicking off another 12 weeks Monday? Maybe we should start a new   Forum: "The Back 2 Backs"

    Louis

  • Nice tip Louis ;-)

I'm thinking about maybe starting the next challenge November 1st, just because it's nice to start on the first of the month. THAT said, I'm really proly gonna start on October 28th (a Monday) cause I like to go from Monday to Saturday for the cardio/lifting bit and have Sunday's off.

Maybe we should think of a team name for our next go around, I've been following the July group that just went into their second challenge, they're calling their group the Fearless group or something... a great bunch to check in on for sure... but can't hold a candle to our group ;-)
