    AnnaFL, I am the opposite of you, I relish my free days. Sometimes, I plan what junk I will eat. If I don't take advantage of this day, I am more likely to cheat during the week. However, I am one who loves cakes, pie, cookies, chips etc.

    Katiebug, Congratsulations on your upcoming graduation! This is a hard time to budget for eating right and getting in a workout. You are almost done with school, so don't fret if you have a few misshaps.

    Wonderwoman, Another way to switch it up is to start with a different body part altogether. I can lift heavier on the first group than the others.  I have the "gumby feeling in my bummy today". Ha!

    It is the complete workout. I am going to try it today for the first time. I was looking for a plyometrics HIIT workout and saw a recommendation for this workout.  Right afterwards I read your post. One is the 40 seconds on 20 seconds rest and the other is the 30 on 30 off.  I watched it earlier today and it looks good and all the reviews on Amazon are 5 stars.

    Pattymelt, I did 40/20 with some modifications. First of all, I only have 2 sets of risers. Also, as far as butt kicks, I only did as many as I could because I have a bad shoulder and can't put a lot of pressure on it for extended time. Anyhow, by the end, I was thinking, when is this ever going to end, and it was the last interval. Lastly, next time, I will not do it directly after a lbwo. My legs were still tired from yesterday.

    What browser are you using? Firefox is better than Safari for most sites. Internet Explorer is not really compatible with Mac, so if you're using IE, that could be your problem.

    Also, do you have Parallels or Bootcamp? I'm a Mac user and I have parallels for websites not fully compatible with Firefox (and only compatible with IE). I put on the Parallels, then I open IE and go from there.

  • Haven't been to the gym since Friday. I got sick on Saturday and have been sick ever since. I have a stomach virus that just won't go away. I'm so mad that I haven't been able to go to the gym. Hopefully, I'll feel better by tomorrow.

    Been doing good on the eating program for the most part. I did eat processed soups though.

  • Hope ya feel better ElleBlue,  I have been so sore all week am looking forward to Sunday and doing nothing...well maybe some snorekling..Doing HIIT this morning every muscle ached with each step but made it thru. HOpe everyone has a good day and stay focused !!!

  • Hi Anna. Thanks for the well wishes. I'm feeling better, but I'm not out of the woods yet. If I'm feeling better, I'll go to the gym tomorrow. Snorkeling sounds like fun!

    I also started on 11 April.... almost 4 weeks which I can't believe. It's the longest consistent exercise I've ever done (also the most in a week)..... Finding it ok so far - helps that my Fiance' is now on his second round (hotsauce) and seeing the results he achieved is kinda keeping me going although I can't see too much change yet. No change in weight and only 0.4% fat loss but I'm going to do a formal weight/measurement on Sunday.... I'm hanging on....... and hoping

  • Hello everyone!!!  Well I could no longer resist the urge of the scale calling me...6lbs down wootwoot am happy with that..wont get on again for a few weeks.

    I am off to do my hiit run. Usually I listen to ipod, but today will start to watch Black Swan. Maybe it will make the 20 minutes fly by.

    Chickensauce, The changes for me are slow too. This is my second round. I did a lot better with meals on the first round, and I was 6 years younger. I am sticking with it. I have been looking at different posts, and many people don't notice big changes until the 8th week. We shall see.

    I tried to do it the day after my LBWO and it wasn't happening. I was too sore but I did it the day after UB and I enjoyed it. Took me some time to feel comfortable following her during the warm up but once we were in the routine I was able to work it out.  I also only have 2 risers.  I have never taken a step class just happened to buy the steeper because I found it at Goodwill for $3.25, it is usually $90 so I decided I could do something with it. Thank you again for mentioning the dvd I really appreciate it!

  • Hello everybody, just want to confess I MISSED the whole cotton pickin week of workouts at that gym!!! I have a very sore knee I am actually thinking about going to the ortho dr to take a look at it and tell me why the ligament is not healing, geez it has been 6 weeks, and just felt bad this week so missed, but figured I would start afresh on Mon. May 9th with gusto again. Been doing pretty well on the diet part anyway and am teetering below 190, started at 194-5...took forever it seems to get UNDER that number and surprising I look a lot better in the face and shoulders the puffiness is gone. I don't feel discouraged just pacing myself, it'll be ok, the gym isn't going anywhere...;o)
