I did BFL program about 4 years ago with some ok results even though I really was only doing it M-F and cheating on the weekends. I just took my before pictures and I am embarrassed to post them. Maybe in a few weeks. I am looking for some folks that are starting the challenge around the same time as me or have experience with the challenge that can come to this thread and share progress, experiences and offer encouragment to each other. Looking forward to the journey.
my husband and I are re-starting on January 3rd and we love to give and get support. We did the challenge a couple years ago with amazing results. Sadly I injured myself a few months after our completion and couldn't get back to the gym. We felt so good then, and are ready to take on the challenge again. Nice to meet you gman21

I recently finished my challenge but can certaintly offer words of encouragement. Posting your before pictures can be humiliating (I had a hard time doing it myself) but don't forget your overall transformation will inspire others, and on the flip side you need to come to terms with the way you look right now. That photo will give you the motivation to change.
Anyway, Congrats for coming back to B.F.L. I can guarantee, that once your back in the swing of things you will have more energy, feel better about yourself, and be proud of the new you!
Work hard, and you will be surprised by the results.

Hi all I as well am just starting the BFL. This will be my first time doing this program. A good friend of mine gave me the book last week and I was very intrigued by what I had read. I have already started working out 5 days a week at the gym but have not changed my eating habits. I hope after this weekend to get it all put together and hopefully start seeing some results. I have not taken my before pictures or measurements yet hope to do that this weekend as well. Good Luck to all and hopefully we can help each other along the way as well.

Question: if we personally start the challenge does it count as an "official" BFL challenge? (Meaning, can we enter results in the contest?) I did not see any dates posted for 2011...
Of course you can join us Wiggles, welcome. I am pretty sure we can register for January 3rd and have it be an official challenge. Make sure you go to the challenge tab and register. Don't forget to take your before pics and measurements too! I will be doing so this weekend.
Glad to see more people joining in all are welcome. I plan on using this forum as kinda journal to discuss my highs and lows mostly highs I hope. I am so rdy to start. I picked the 3rd because my Gamecocks play Friday and I will be watching the game with some friends probably eating bad and having a few cold ones. The challenge is working these kind of events into my new lifestyle but I am focused and will not fail. So ready for Monday I start off with upper body.

I am starting Jan 3, 2011. I have been yoyoing with my weight for some time. I think that it is not only about the weight, but about making a lifestyle change. What I mean about that is that I need something to motivate me and keep me going. I give out and lose steam. Eating has always been a source of comfort, but now it is affecting my health.
