Just wanted to repost something from Legs that was really helpful to me in the early days of C1. Also because I am amazed every day when I look down at my legs and see that the cellulite is seriously on its way out. It is AMAZING! And I was SKEPTICAL because I have had it almost my whole life. I am not done yet...on C2 week 9...and I plan to continue with challenges at least for a whole year. But it is true- the weightlifting really helps the cellulite!!!!!
Here's what Legs said to me in July...
"YES!!! Cellulite will disappear. I know I know - DanaAZ told me several times. WHY? Because I kept asking!! and
she patiently told me to just BELIEVE, KEEP AT IT and I WILL GROW LEGS
LIKE HER. She was a smart one alright.
OK - this is gross, but when I started doing my Gazelle, I would
watch in the mirror and on the back swift glide the backs of my chubby
calves would swoosh ahead and actually cause like a huge dent in the
front of my shin - like this wave of back leg fat would swooh ahead.
(does that even make sense) It was all ripply and gross. I didnt like
jogging or walking fast outside in shorts cause I thought the whole
town would talk about my goofy legs at coffee row. Ha ha. :( (I've
had leg issues all my life)
I am not sure if you realize I am not perfect (I KNOW - THUD....GET
UP!!! SHOCKER!!- LOL dont tell MO!!! Shhhh!) I am in my 4th consecutive
imperfect but steady challenge and am very pleased to report I have NO
FORWARD MOTION FLAB in my calves anymore. (woo hoo - cheers and
whistles...) They are just solid mostly when I stand. When I lay down I
can make them swing still (ew) but definately that cellulite is either
gone or shrunk - I really dont know which. This morning after my LBWO I
looked so hard in the mirror to see that heart shape in my calves like
99% of the population has, and I just have a dent going on. I am not
giving up though, I believe they will come. Maybe if I had a gym to go
to that would help but for now I just work with what I have in my home.
:) I'm good with that. PROGRESS.
Also if I would put my foot on a chair, there was cellulite
noticeable big time under my thigh. That is almost gone...wait, I'll
check....yes, almost gone. I have to "feel" to "see" it. I still have
inches to go on my thighs - there is that hump at the top that most
women have and it has been at 23" forever....right above my knee has
really thinned - I wish I would have measured there at the beginning....
So of the old posters may remember me saying that all I want is for
my legs (thighs) to stop moving when I stop moving. I also would stand
in front of the mirror and do the jiggle dance if I thought of eating
something unauthorized. That seems like a long time ago....and when I
think about it, alot has changed for me. Not so much in clothing size
but firmness. When I squat I can see my quads being apart from my
hamstrings. I like that. It happened so slowly for me - because I let
it be slow.... but it came.
So the answer is YES believe it or not. But it takes time (unless
you are perfectly following the book) - and depending where you're fat
pockets are, or where you want them gone the most, believe me - they'll
be the last."
Thanks again, Legs. I hope this inspires someone.

My FOURTH Challenge: May 23-Aug. 14, 2011. Began First BFL Challenge on June 21, 2010
It inspires me Jen! Thanks!
Live life with passion!
me too -- since it is all over my stomach from childbirth!
Jen 4 Life,
Congrats on your progress! It is true that cellulite will vanish. If you ever go to a bodybuilding competition take a look at the women competing. You will most likely see no cellulite on these athletes. I am also happy to report that mine is also gone. Ladies, we don't need magic lotion or pills-just weight train and your cellulite will vanish.
Lorig: Really?!? All gone? How bad was it? You mean there is hope?!?!
YES ALL GONE!! I had it really bad on the back of my legs and the sides. I tried creams and nothing worked. I just finished the B.F.L. 12 week transformation and I have zero cellulite. I never thought it would go away since I have had it for so many years but it is gone. My husband was the one who noticed first.
A doctor friend of mine told me that we call cellulite is actually is not. It's only unsightly fat deposits. He said that cellulite is a very different thing that has a similar appearance to that but it isn't and it does not go with exercise.
Courage isn't lack of fear. It's our ability to carry on despite our fear

Lorig: Where are your before/after photos...I've been waiting!
"The only person you should try to be better than, is the person you were yesterday!"
Right after my photo shoot my husband took me to Disney World for a mini vacation. I will be back on December 8th and will post my pictures then. Thanks for asking.
BDMom I love your signature! Something to keep in mind...
MyDecade: Wish I could take credit, but it is actually a quote from Lance Armstrong. I tried to add his name to it, but it was apparently too long, and wouldn't let me add it. But yes...I like to remember that on a regular basis.
Lorig: Have fun at Disneyworld...look forward to your pics.
It is still great that you shared it with us. I will keep it in mind because there IS going to be PAIN...
You got that right!!! Good luck with your challenge, MyDecade. Make sure you come here often for support; it is what got me through my challenge!
