Is everyone ready for round 2??? I am! Please join me!!!! I am very excited to get started once again. On my first challenge Ilost 23 lbs and many inches from just about everywhere! I am ready to do better and feel better than I do now!
Ok yes I will admit it, I was horrible over the Thanksgiving weekend. But I am back stronger than ever and ready to fight some more!
I know we have several people from Gutts and Butts round one that will be here fighting with me. Who else wants to be a part of a wonderful, inspiring group that are human just like everyone else not perfect but trying to be better??!!
I can't wait to see all of you back on here!

Count me in Lonna! I am behind you just a bit however...tomorrow I will be starting week 12...had a really off week last week (only worked out once...still getting over an injury), but amazingly saw some transformation in my body! No more EXCUSES...I am planning on rocking week 12 and finishing STRONG!!

do you have any suggestions on how to measure body fat. I don't belong to a gym... is it important to do so in order to do the challenge. It would be great to know however; I am not sure if this is going to happen. any help would be great thanks!
Oh, I am going to do the BFL from home.. I have an eliptical and all the free weights needed. I also do Tao Bo twice a week. however; I will do that in addition to my 3 x's per week HIIT work outs..... I do the martial arts with my son and will not be able to give that up. will that be ok? thank you!

Emmy, I do not belong to a gym either, I have slowly but surely gotten so equipment to help out with the workouts, At first all I had was a treadmill and dumb bells and it worked! If you are at all interested in finding so equipment let me know and I can help you find some cheap ways to get some.
I do not know how to measure fat, I am sure you Dr can do it, although I am not sure I want my Dr doing that either, I just took my measurements and weight and clothes sizes and judged my losses with those things. I know there are placed online that can help and now that you have asked I am sure someone will come up with an answer for you!
It sounds like you have all that you will need and are ready to start your Transformation! Good Luck YOU CAN DO IT!!

I too workout at home...it eliminates all of the excuses for not making it to the gym...i.e. bad weather, sick child, etc. I have a treadmill, a balance ball, and free weights, and those have worked great for me!

Hey all, wondering if it would be ok if I join on on this group a day late?
My name is Lee, and I'm 32 years old and have just had my whole life turned upside down and I need a change. I have started this program many times before, but have never finished. Over the past 3yrs i have lost 60lbs. only to put it back on over the last year plus. During that time, my marraige dissolved (seperated, soon to end, but still very friendly, I know, its weird :) ) I have also got back into some very bad habits. I have created a drinking problem in myself from trying to cope with the seperation. and have started smoking again after a long hiatus. I know that it is essential that i do this, not only for my 4 year old son, but for myself to become more self confident going back out into the single world again.
But most importantly, I need to treat my Body the right way!!! I have been very destructive towards it for many years, with it only accelerating over the past year and a half. I am sure that it will not be an easy road, but it is something that I must do. I am coming here for support and advice, and maybe even aa little counseling :) I am looking forward to going through this with all of you, and I am looking forward to meeting my old enemy, the Cybex Arc Trainer tomorrow!!!

I think when we did round one we all at one point in time needed advice and inspiration! I can try to counsel, I have been up and down with weight problems my whole life. I have been married and divorced and throught the single life and married again. I will try and do what I can to help and inspire!!!!
I have every confidence that you can and will do this for all the reasons you gave and even the ones you did not give.
We are all here to make our lives and health better, we can do it!!!!

Mine was ok not good but I did it, I think today will be better I like my cardio! I hurt my should last wek and it was hurting during the wo so I did not push myself to much. Oh well its a new day!

My lower body wo was good! lol Did it at night...HARD to get into! But it went good...abs were great!

Well ran out of time yester to do cardio so I will do lower body W and cardio tonight.. Yesterday was such a busy stressful day with little sleep...
