Day 2 down. So far so good.
I can't believe how good I feel in just 2 days! I know I haven't lost weight it's too early but I feel like I have because the bloating is gone. I actually feel leaner and so much better in 48 hours! Wow . I had massage today and the thearipist recommended using 2 cups of ebsom salts in a bath a couple times a week to releive soreness. Says it is amazing and not to mention relaxing.
Looking forward to lower body wo tomorrow and on that note I have a question. The way the program is described it says we do 2 upper body wo and 1lower body wo a week. Is that right? Or are we supposed to alternate upper and lower equally?

Good Evening, on alternating say this week you do ubwo then cardio then lbwo then cardio then upbwo then cardio then the next week you start with lbwo. So it all evens out. . Hope that makes sense. I also feel better after 2 days other than being extremely sore. Have a great day!
i'm with you on this, i cant believe how good i feel today, and i also know i havent lost any real weight yet, but that bloated feeling is gone, and i also think that just committing, and then doing makes us feel pretty awesome. been looking at some champion pics, and man they motivating, i would love to have no belly. workouts, 1st week if start with upper body day 2 aerobics, day 3 lower body, day 4 aerobics day 5 upper body day 6 aerobics day 7 rest next week day 1 start with lower body then keep alternating so after 2 weeks upper and lower have the same amount of workouts.

Any suggestions for those sugar cravings anyone? I thought protein bars was a good idea until I realised that some of them are full of calories! One bar I saw was almost 400 calories!

Hi Donald CLA is Conjugated Linoleic Acid. Basically to lose fat you need to eat the good fats. This is in liquid softgel form. Ive found in the past its help with midsection, BLF recommend you use it as one of the supplments to help fat loss. Hi manny_uk, i am drinking herbal teas at night, doesnt really help the cravings but it im really hungry i will have a low carb protein shake. I also found some bars have high calories, some of the low carb bars are not so bad. If i feel i may cheat i go to bed and read my book!!!
You might want to consider using the Body-for-Life Journal. It has all 84 days laid out for you, so there's no confusion on what workout to do on what days. I used it on C1 and am using it on this challenge as well. It allows you to do all your planning, journaling and has a daily reading also. I think you'll like it. I love it.

What a day! Just now heading out to the gym. Hope everyone has had a good day! I feel like I've been eating all day, but I have less than 1200 calories in my journal so far. Have another early day tomorrow so I'll be going to bed early tonight. Will chat more tomorrow!

wow what a upper body workout this morning!! i also had rpm this morning and bodypump tonight as well so my arms are about to drop off!!! Double dose on wednesdays. I think i will sleep well, im hungry but too physically tired to eat, just wana go and sleep. Up for a 6km run tomorrow at 6.30 and my day is done!!
Oceanlover650 (Donna) do you find counting calories as well as tracking food is hard work?? thats what i love about the BFL its the size of your fist/palm or 20/20 ratio. I dont need to think about it as long as i get protein and carbs im set. Even though ive only been doing it since monday, im eating more (more cleaner food) and im more hungry!! so thats a good sign of my metabolism speeding up.

Good morning (evening? afternoon?) - day 3 is always tough, mostly just getting up at 5:15 AM. I know it will take at least another week before I don't dread it.
Question for you all - especially those on C2 or C3 - any suggestions for hamstring exercises with dumbells? That's all I have, and I did straight leg dead lifts today, but I didn't have a 2nd exercise to do. I went to bodybuilding.com, and they only had the 1 excercise to do with dumbells. On the BFL/EAS material, they suggest lunges for hamstrings, but bodybuilding.com classifies lunges for quadricepts, and I did them for that, so I didn't want to do them again for hamstrings.
Shoot, I also wanted to ask - how do you do your ab work? It felt really weird to rest 1 minute in between ab sets, so I didn't. I just plowed through all sets. Maybe if I was doing harder exercises I'd welcome the rests! But, I was just doing crunches, and I wanted to fatigue the muscles.

Morning everyone! It's a gorgeous day today in CO after a blustery, rainy/snowy day yesterday. I'm really pumped this morning; maybe it's that extra energy some of you were talking about.
Kiwigirl, I've worn a BodyBugg for over a year and I'm so used to logging my food that it feels weird when I don't. It does take a little extra time to do it, but I wanted to see initially how many calories I was taking in on an average day in this plan. I feel like it makes me more accountable and less likely to cheat if I know I have to record it. As I get more comfortable with BFL I'm sure I'll drop it, but for now it's like a security blanket to keep me on track since food is my biggest challenge ;).
