hi im starting the 4th october 2010 and need some serious motivation this time around as its my 2nd challenge.my last one was 2 years ago and i slipped back into all my old habbits need to loose about 30lbs
Welcome back!!! Old habits can take a hike. It is time for a new and improved you. You have the strength to do this and get back on track! Have you written down your goals and reasons for wanting to acheive those goals? A second challenge takes commitment, dedication and tenacity. Having your goals front and center keeps you motivated and going.
You can do this!!!
Visit the forum often. It is a great place for ideas, support, motivation and to stay accountable.
thanks orrin and yes i have all my goals and reasons written down for the challenge ahead.i am really looking forward to starting in a few days time.i have spent the last few hours browsing through the forum and have gotten some ideas allready and read some good articles.my biggest downfall the last time was nutrition and looking back now i chould have put in another 25% effort in my training but in saying that i did get good results so i will be learning from my mistakes this time round.
I am also starting the challenge on Oct 4th!! This is my first time doing it and I cannot wait to see the transformation. I am going to talk to my husband tonight about doing it with me so that we can both transform together. I already convinced my best friend and her husband into doing it with me. SHe just had a baby and went on the special K diet. So far it has worked for them but is definitely not a life plan. Don't get me wrong, cereal is yummy but get serious.
I am a little worried that my body might already be messed up from all the fad and crash diets that I have failed, of which the most recent was HCG. Man am I a dope! Stupid diets do not work!
Squidey, I look forward to starting this journey together and I hope that I will be as much inspiration and support for you as I am sure you will be for me!
BTW I want to be held accountable so I am letting you know I bought a size 6 pair of Big Stars that are my goal jeans to fit into in 12 weeks!
You can do this.....the biggest motivation should be wanting to do this challenge for you and nobody else!!! You are important and deserve to take better care of yourself! Best of luck and come to the boards often for the extra kick in the pants you need!!

Oh man I can hardly stand the wait to start on Monday. I am waiting for my book so I can start. I searched store after store yesterday for it and could not find it anywhere!! Guess I will have to keep waiting on AMAZON! Yikes! I want to read it a few times before Monday! I hope they hurry!
hi newlywed this is my 2nd time to do it and i can tell you that if u stick too the diet and excercise that u will get results.i could have put in about 30% more effort in my diet and excercise first time round so this time i will make it right.on ur free day dont over do it with what u eat i did and i think it didnt help me at all.i will be picking out a pair of jeans and a tshirt that are way too tight for me now and they will be my goal as well to fit into by the end of the programme.i train in the morning first thing then shower then healthy breakfast and i feel great for the day. i will try too report here every day or 2nd day and am really looking forward to starting monday best of luck too you onwards and upwards from here on.i will try to get some before pics up over the weekend
I will start on Oct 4th as well. I have read the book and pumped myself up numerous times and I never follow through. But I just recently turned 36 and I would like to have my high school body back. I am so motivated to be doing this for myself! My goal is to lose 20 lbs. Good luck everyone! We can do it!

Hello everyone. I just finished my first challenge on Sept 26. And am taking 1 week of active rest. I lost 23 lbs. I am a 42 year old mother of three. I will be starting my second challenge on October 4 as well. Hope you all don't mind if I join the group. I've got 24 more lbs to lose.
welcome th32 great to have you onboard the body for life express ha ha im 34 and am lookin at loosing between 25 to 30lbs.the 1st few weeks can be though but stick with it and dont be afraid to push urself put your tight clothes aside and come xmas you will slide in to them.looking forward to hearing all about your journey so keep in touch.newlywed we will all be there for each other every step of the way.are any of you guys on facebook????

roll on sunday supermarket here i come fresh veggies fresh fruit lean cuts of meat chicken fish eggs water etc etc etc.am really looking forward to monday now that its nearly here best of look too everybody we can do this
Hi all! I hope you don't mind if I join you all. I am starting on Oct 4th as well and excited! I did the challenge 6 years ago and felt fantastic and loved the program.. Thought I had it licked (unhealthy, fat living) but I'm in really sad shape again! When a visitor to my house saw a picture of me at my best - they asked if that was my daughter! I almost cried! "That was me in 2004!" I've never done blogs and not good at sharing things about myself but would appreciate all your help and support!
I will also be starting Oct. 4th! I am glad to see that some of you have already been through this before with great results. I think you can help out us 1st timers with alot of tips. I am also a 1st time blogger. I love the idea of teamwork with the Oct. 4th group! I chose the name of Dissapearing Diana as my goal is to literally dissapear! I look forward to all of the support.
