Hello, everyone.
All this is new to me and I am getting ready to start Friday 9/3 and need to know a few things.
I believe I registered but do I need to do anything else to get registered for the 9/3 cut off date? Do I need to send something in?
Also can someone guide me on the starter packs??? I want to loose weight but more important I want to have a muscle on this body of mine. So which kit should I purchase?
I am in the category of extreme obese, I weigh more than most NFL linemen and I am sick of it!!! (even though I think i'm okay )
The only thing that will prevent me from completeing these 12 weeks will be my death due to exersise. I was skinny most of my life and never had a muscle on my body. If I could drop some serious weight and put on some muscle I will consider that a very big win.
I see the pictures of other who did if and if they can do it so can I!
Not sure how all this blog stuff works, it took me 15 minutes to figure out how to start one.
If I can be of any help to anyone who else is starting this week let me know, I am a great encourager and I am finishing these 12 weeks or I will be found dead in my basement due to exersise. So if you would like someone to struggle through these 12 weeks with let me know.
If anyone knows the answers to my questions please reply and help me kill the fat man!!!!!
Welcome to the BFL forum and congratulations on making the decision to transfrom your life! You can do this!!!!
As far as the challenge is concerned, once you have the official entry kit you take your before pics and measurments, do the the 12 weeks will all you have, take after pics and measurments, write your essay and send it all in. The judges will take it from there. If you have any questions, especially about the starter packs, give the great staff at the 1 - 800 number a call and they will be able to help you out.
Stay in touch on the forums. There are so many great people here and lots of encouragement, support, advice and ideas.
All the best with your challenge.

Welcome to the group! I think we all are looking forward to killingthefatman or woman! Love the name!
I think one of the most important parts of this program is planning. Plan your meals, plan your work outs, keep journals of your daily experiences & food intake. It's a lot of work but I think it'll be well worth it.
The other important part (for me) is going to keep reading these blogs. I find encouragement from them both from words of wisdom and in knowing that I'm not alone.
Take care,
