Hello! G girl here! My start date is June 30th, I'm just wondering if any one else is starting next week as well? My first challenge was March-June of 08 and I had great results. I have officially entered this time, this will be my 6th attempt, I'm pretty fed up with how close I am to looking the way I want, and fed up with my own lame excuses. Lack of planning and lack of sleep were the top two things that would derail me. It's gonna be different this time round! Any body with me?

Hello, I am with you also. My brother and I are going to start on Monday the 28th. I am nervous but excited at the same time. I can not and will not fail at this. We are in this together. I am sure it will be tough but most things that are worth while are.
I am also starting my first challenge Monday. I am meeting with a trainer tomorrow to learn all the equipment and make sure my form is right so I am ready to go on Monday. :) I haven't been on a workout routine in over a decade and have rarely been to a gym. So, I am a little intimidated, but feel committed. Good Luck to us all!!!
Count me in!! I will begin on the 30th as well. This will be my first attempt / challenge. Count me in on the "intimidated but committed" part because that's exactly where I am right now ...

I am with you :) I failed my first attempt. I made it only four weeks. NO MORE EXCUSUES! I AM A SINGLE WORKING MOMMY OF TWO ....I NEED TO MAKE THE TIME FOR HER SELF :)
I'm starting on 6/30 also - I've finished the challenge once before in 2008 and it did wonders for me. I've gained over 50 lbs in the last year and a half while fighting Lyme disease and I've known all along that once I got better BFL would be how I get my life back so here I am.... I won't let you make excuses if you won't let me! I'm dedicating this weekend to planning meals and stocking up on the healthy groceries and protein powders and shakes I'll need to get through the first couple of weeks which are going to be the hardest for me. Even though I'm starting on a Wednesday I'm going to have my free day on Sundays. I'm excited!

i am starting on the 30th also but the 28th falls on a Monday so i'm really starting Monday...i am so excited! but i have so many questions because this is my first time. So do i have to take my picture with a news paper or not! i mean they say no news paper is necessary but how would they know for sure we started 3 days before the date of the challenge? or how would they know it is not a old picture of us?
You don't have to take your before pic with a newspaper, but I strongly recommend that you print out your pics the same day, and date them. You have a good question about whether or not they know we're using an old picture to turn in with our packets. I'm not sure! It all boils down to honesty I think.
Hello! I am starting on June 30th as well! This is my second step up to the plate; however, this is it! - I'm in it to win it!. I really want to live the life I've always dreamed about. I'll be starting on June 30th. The first time around I didn't get as involved with the forum, but I plan to do it this time around because I know I am going to need encouragement throughout the transformation. My biggest challenge is going to be hanging with my pals, and sticking to it! I know this is going to be the hardest part - going to lunches with co-workers, cocktail hour after work, etc. My friends loooooove to hang, and I need to learn to hang and stick to it. Maybe, I'll pick Friday as my off day - not sure.
High five to all the June 30th Body For Lifers! We're in this together, make it count, and be excited about the life style will be realizing at the end of 12 weeks! Whew HU!!!!!
talentednita... I'll be having my before photos printed out at CVS - they put a date stamp on it as opposed to printing at home. I'm doing this knowing that the tech at CVS will see my before photos - the fact that I know I will be ashamed is only driving me harder to do this and get it right!
Plan plan plan... for those doing this for the first time - plan ahead for what you wil eat and schedule the workouts into your day... set an alarm on your phone to remind you to eat and workout... tell your friends you are doing this - they will support you and you won't want to let them down (some of them may even join you!). If you don't own the original BFL book buy ot or borrow it today and read the whole thing. I'm so excited to find others that are doing this at the same time.... I'm ready!
