Posted pics under the "my transformation" section...=)=)=)
Pics posted under my profile. Some success, working on 2nd Round. AKMAMA, great job, look great!
Posted before and after pics under my profile as well. I am happy with the progress but ready to crank out another 12 weeks on 9-6 :)
Great Job NavyMustng! It really works!
Congrats on your achievement. It's been great to share this journey with you all.
You look GREAT !
Will post my pics hopefully this week.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! WAY TO GO!!!!! Y'all are having fantastic results. The inner transformations are so key. Enjoy your active rest and then hit it hard again.
All I can say is WOW! You have all done an awesome job and should be EXTREMELY proud of your accomplishments! I haven't been out here in many weeks and I realize now how important these boards are to helping me stay motivated... there isn't a better group than the J7 Crew! :)
My husband and I were doing pretty well for the first six weeks or so...and then I let work and "life" get in the way once again. My weight has dropped from 167 to 159; however, I haven't gone back for measurements because I knew I hadn't been exercising for several weeks (just trying to at least follow the nutrition plan). I haven't been in the 150's since before my two children (oldest is 3 and youngest will be 2 in Dec.)!
Navy and Craig - lookin' good guys! Keep it up!
AKMama - you're my inspiration!
I still have to go out and check everyone elses photos...i'm just so impressed and motivated by all of your stories! Keep it up!
I'm gearing up to start again on September 6...and "finish" right around Thanksgiving...perfect timing for holiday pictures! :) Come on J7Crew - Round2! Who's in?!
Congrats again everyone!
tenacious-e,
I'm in for another round. Started today 9/3. Have a new challenge this time as I'll be on the road for the next 8 weeks with NO gym and NO structure. Just gonna do it. Will post photo's later today as I didn't with the last challenge.
Excited this time around. Last time I was just plain nervous and skeptical.
Jules
Posted my Before and After photo's.
Great job mtnhigh! You look great!
mtnhigh~ WOW! You look like you lost so much more scale weight than actuality! You are going to ROCK C2!!! Good luck with modifying the workouts. You should be proud of your progress, skeptism and all!
I started today as well. But hired a coach because after 5 days of eating like crud and not working out, I needed something bad and fast. Decided to enter the Olympia weekend Flex Bikini model conpetition in exactly 3 weeks! Sounds a bit nuts, and I am thinking I'm crazy...but what the heck. Will be a good experience and I've never been to Vegas!
mtnhigh/Jules here is a workout posted by MichelleT for when no equipment is available and she looks outstanding. At the bottome is something champion Mike Harris added to it. I hope it helps. If you are not sure of the exercise, just google it and you'll find them.
WORKOUT TO BE USED WHEN NO EQUIPMENT IS AVAILABLE.
Traveling Body Weight Workout
Do this with no rest between exercises. Rest 1 minute at the end of the 7-minute circuit and repeat for 3 cycles.
Bodyweight squat (15-20 reps)
Pushup (10-20 reps) - do it on your knees if you must
Reverse Lunge (10 reps per leg)
Plank (30 second hold, add time as you can)
Close-grip Pushup (10-20 reps)
Side Plank (20 second hold per side, add time as you can)
Mountain Climber (10 reps per side)
Do winners do the minumum? NO! They do 20 reps when it says 15-20.
Do they drop out of plank position when they hit 30 seconds? NO!
They hold their plank position until their arms are shaking, heck- until their whole body is shaking.
You gotta want it! HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT???!!!!

And from BFLMike (on 10-8-2009)…The only thing I would add at all to Michelle’s workout would be to suggest that a fitness ball and pump go with you on the road, as that can add even many more exercises with increased difficulty factors, and it can also make some exercises, such as wall squats, both safer and more intense.
Finshed challenge one. Gained 9 pounds and dropped body fat from 13% to 8%. Got good results but missed my mark of gaining 15 pounds and dropping body fat to 7%. Have much more energy and am feeling much stronger than 12 weeks ago. I am excited about my progress and looking forward to starting challenge 2. I have definately learned some things that will hopefully make the next challenge much more successful. Also very proud of my wife who also completed her first challenge and did amazing. We may get photos up this week.
Great job everyone. For those of you starting new challenges I wish you well.
akmama, tried posting and lost everything to this computer.
Thanks for your encouragement on my C2.
How did you do in Vegas?
My Challenge after 4 weeks is:
No weight loss, no fat loss. I'm staying the same. This is ok (I guess!!) as I've been driving around touring Europe every day. Doing crossfit in hotel rooms and running stairs wherever I find them but nothing for a steady 20 minutes.
Food. Ugh. It's all processed meats and cheese and bread. i starved almost for 2 days as I could find nothing 'authorized' on the road.
Happy that my first challenge changed my outlook and attitude. Still getting compliments from family members that I don't get to see that often. That feels wonderful.
Will post again hopefully with a numbers change next time.
If you have the time would love to hear about your competition and congrats on doing that.
All the best
