No results - help

  • I'm in my 3rd week.  I have been diligent about keeping track of everything I eat and all my workouts.  I made a huge binder with the BFL forms and I use them every day.  If I wasn't keeping track of everything then I would see how I would be slipping.  I haven't lost any weight and my clothes are not fitting better.  When I'm doing my workouts, I am able to up my weight frequently.  But no physical signs.  Last year I lost 45 lbs and have kept that off.  I reached a plateau last summer and I still can't seem to break through that.  I made a commitment and will keep doing this for the full term.  I just wonder if anyone has ideas about maximizing the results.  I know everyone is different.  Weightloss has always been difficult for me.  I went to my doc & she did a full panel of blood tests & hormone tests.  Everything came back normal.  I do my cardio in the morning before I eat anything and then wait for an hour to eat afterwards.  Plus I walk 6 extra miles a week.  I am diligent about lifting weights and I usually hit at least 2 - 10's in the workout.  Eating 5-6 times a day.  Always getting protein and good carbs at each meal.  Always getting 10-14 cups of water a day.  I feel like I'm doing everything, just not sure why I'm stuck.  Thanks!!

  • Oh yeah, one more thing.  I still have 40lbs to lose and am still in the obese category.  So it's not like I'm almost to my goal or too skinny.  I still have quite a long journey.  Thanks for looking!!

  • The first thing is have patience.  It will take your body at least 4 full weeks to start responding to the changes you are making.  Right now it's just too early in the process to be worried about anything.  On the front page of your binder, write the word "FAITH" and read it every day.  Have faith in the process because it works.  I know.  I've lost 150lbs by doing it.
