well i have just started and feel great...still need to set come goals but definitely need to drop my fat% as it is rather unhealthy at the moment..but im up for the challenge...i have tried many times and fallen off the wagon but my daughter this time is my biggest motivator who is 9 years old...she said that she wants to be fit and healthy like mum...now if that isnt enough of a motivator to keep me on track then i dont know what is...
Whatever your external motivation (like your daughter), please know that you are worth doing this for yourself. It will be a great opportunity to start introducing healthier food and exercise to your family. I wish I would have had a fit role model at that age.
If you really want to give her permission to keep you on track, post a calendar on the refrigerator and let her cross off the days as you get your workouts in.
Take a few minutes to review your meal plan with her and explain why you are eating what you are, talk about how muscles grow and why nutrition is so important to both of you as you grow and get stronger and fitter.
Thanks heaps for that..I will definitely have a talk with her and get a book out tonight on muscles....yep I know that this is for me....that is the main reason I am doing it..finally got my life back on track after the worst year of my life....im so excited...altho my poor muscles are very sore....just a small thing to be as the end result will be the biggest sense of achievement..each day i am over the moon that i have completed that day and i am sure that the 12 weeks will fly by:)
