Starting Dec 2nd

  • Alright, I am starting BFL on Monday.  I have done it many times in the past with amazing results. Ever since I had my 3rd child,  I have lost the motivation I used to have.  I need it back.  I am coming onto a break from my first semester of nursing school and am hoping to get back in a habit of working out and eating healthy again!! I need someone for motivation, so if you are starting too, let me know!!

  • I'm right there with you - I'm starting tomorrow.  Have never done this before, but figure that I have nothing to lose, but hopefully about 20 pounds:)  I too have 3 kids and need motivation to keep me going. Let's do this! Good luck!

  • Ditto!  I'm starting up on the 2nd as well.  Let's look great for Valentine's Day, eh?  Don't Stop, Never Quit, Never Give Up.  Remember, it only hurts for a little while.  Anybody can take pain as long as they know it will end.

  • Starting tomorrow as well.  My goal is to gain weight through muscle growth.  My wife will not do the challenge with me as she believes eating more is not the answer.  Wish I had an idea hour top motivate her.  She is235 at five foot four, and drinks three Tumwater amount of soda as suggested in the program.  She only eats two meals, but they are mostly pre boxed crap.  We have three boys, and I want her with us for a long time to come.  Good luck with your challenge!  You can do it!

  • You know you can do this.  Good luck!

  • I'm starting today too.  I have tried several times in the past but I am really motivated this time.  My goal is to add 10 lbs of muscle and improve my overall health during this challenge period.  I wish you all the best of luck at meeting your goals.

  • I have started today (again) too.  I have used BFL to get in shape before and it works!  So why can't I stay with it?!? The things I have continued to do, even when not being loyal to my program, are chugging water and eating a protein and carb every couple of hours.  My problem:  I have no self-control with sweets. Try, try again.

    Good luck everyone!!!

  • I wish my husband would do it with me, too.  He is working out and eating less, but it would be so nice to do this program together... Good luck :)

  • Started today for the third time, each time I have done this correctly I lost weight and was in great shape. My first attempt I lost 60 pounds. I however always manage to gain it all back. My high stress job along with poor eating habits brings it all back fast. My clothes don't fit anymore and my reflection in the mirror just deflates me everyday. Good luck everyone. Hang in there. Come here for motivation and just don't give up. If you stumble you are always one good meal and one workout from being right back on track. PROGRESS NOT PERFECTION!!!

  • I also started today and have had great results in the past. Did you see Bill's recent before and after picture. That was true motivation.

  • I started today!  I am using my 17 year old daughter as my coach.  She is worse then Jillian Michaels on the Biggest Loser.  LOL.  I ate great and went to boot camp this morning.  I'll prob be sore tomorrow :D

  • I have a high stress job too and my clothes are not fitting for work. Soooo let's do this!!!!

  • @KLRedd I am in for the long haul hopefully. My UBW and eating were right on track today. 1 day down. Good luck.

  • I hear you.  I found that working out in the morning is the best way for me to stay motivated.  It's "my time"... (no work, family, etc.).  I find this lil mental oasis really helps.
