I was wondering what your goal weight is and at what height you are at? Also how you are doing so far?
Your today shapes your tomorrow!
Greetings afleece, When I did my first challenge, about 2 years ago, I was in the 289 range almost 300 and my body fat was in the high 33% range or so. Now after two, make that three compleated challenges (just finished C3) my weight is in the 219 range with a bodyfat of about 24% tops and a BMI of about 31%. SO , Hang in there, perservere (like Perseus did in the story), and stick with the BFL program and eating clean and I think you will be startled by the results . You can see my current profile and info at WPBILL on the forum site. Now that you are part of the forum team, feel free to ask for support, help and advice when you need it. We are all here for ya. Maybe even ask to join the BFL Warrior group, a very helpful and supportive group here on the forum (BDMOM will be delighted if you do). I am currently on what is called AR or Active Rest, doing only mild machine and cardio work until I undertake my next endeavor this month. Keep MOving Forward as Bill Phillips always said. Best wishes always to ya.
Hi WPBill
Thank you so much for your encouraging words! You give me hope that I will see my goal if I stick with it! So far I've been on the program for 4 weeks, I have lost 18 inches. I am really pushing myself hard, and I love this program it is so clean cut and simple! I plan on completing four cycles over a course of a year. I really want my outside to be as beautiful as my inside. Any tips and advice you have to give would be greatly welcomed as you are a seasoned pro :) thank you again for your response I appreciate it!
Hi afleece, I'm so proud of you. That's awesome... Keep up the great work...
Afleece,
I started at 275, my goal is to get to 175. I am 5'7", so grossly obese for my height.
Keep fighting the good fight!!!
Brez
I am 5'6 330, I am starting my 3rd Challenge tomorrow (the first one I lost 22 pounds in 6 weeks, fell off and 2nd one I lost 43 pounds in a little over 10 weeks, but was in a bad car wreck) I am here a year later ready to start and finish this challenge, good luck to you and stick with it, it works.
I am starting tommorrow. I am 312, down almost 40lbs in the past few months, but am just looking for more to do other than running on a treadmill. I am looking to get below 300lbs, then go from there. I need to be realistic. I would love to get below 200lbs. But I have to start somewhere.
Well met.
Mike
On my third consecutive challeng. started at 310 and am currently at 206. Focus and consistancy are key. Know your "why" you started to keep you going when you feel like not. Don't give up on yourself no matter what. If you think you made a bad choice, whether food, lack of exercise or whatever, get over it, move on and make the next choice the right one! Good luck in your journey!
Wow I did not expect this many to respond back :).
