I am thinking about restarting a challenge on Monday. However there are times when I will be out of state on the weekends and won't be able to get into a gym. I am also going to Europe at the beginning of August.
HOw do people get their workouts in when they are out of town on the weekends?? Also anyone done a 6 week challenge, taken two weeks off and gone back to week one of Body for Life when they get home???
WOuld love to lose some weight before I go on vacation.
I had a wedding to go to one time in the middle of my challenge (C2) but still managed. I did some pre-checking on local gym options and hotels that had a workout room and adjusted accordingly. I ran, I did swimming in the local pool for HIT one day and did my best to stick to a logical meal plan in keeping with the program. During travel, I had healthy approved snack items (fruit and spring water) or protein shakes at ATL airport and also carried some MYoplex bars with me as a back up. I even found local sources for the supps I needed ahead of time using the internet. Hope this helps out!
i went to alaska for a month during my first challenge and brought along exercise bands and a book with a bunch of exercise band workouts. cardio was easy because i found a school close by and ran around their field. there were also gyms where i could have paid a daily rate....
