I was wondering how everyone did this Memorial Day weekend as far as sticking to the challenge goes. Sunday was my free day, so Saturday, I went to the gym and read the notice that the gym will only be open until 1 pm on Monday, Memorial Day. I made a mental note of it, but even the best laid plans can go kaput. I went to a party yesterday and got home at 2:00 am. I didn't wake up until 12:00 noon. So the workout didn't happen for me. I also was "pretty good" all day, except for dinner. I had tortellini. Tomorrow, I'll just get right back on the program. I already lost 35 lbs and I want to lose the the other 30 lbs by the end of the year. It took almost 9 months to get the 35 lbs off, but things seemed to have picked up a bit, because my metabolism got a lot faster.

Hi ElleBlue. I stuck to my challenge perfectly. Partly due to the support of the one I spent the weekend with. She start the BFL challenge same day. Our free day was Saturday and she was composed much better than I. It was my first free day so I went mildly, um, bad...emphasis on midly! But Sunday and Monday I could characterize as the model for every non-free day. Good topic to post.
Glad your Memorial Day went well, KO. Now we just have to get through the 4th of July without falling off the wagon. We have a lot of family plans this summer, so it will be tough, but I have gotten through holidays without too many blunders. :D
