Good morning BFL February Friends!
WOW! Day 10! I have to say I think my body has adjusted to the routine. I say that in a good way. I don’t feel as tired or as drained. No longer sore, (as bad), and feeling really good. I think the diet is a huge contributor to how I am feeling. Seriously I feel GREAT! I am loving the energy! Last night we took the kids out for a mile brisk walk around a pond close to our house so they can feed the ducks and fish. I made sure to journal it on my handy dandy run keeper, that is right I got an app for that, but it felt so good to soak up the sun and enjoy the 55 degree weather!
My workout this morning felt great. New personal record on the treadmill. I hope everyone is seeing some success and are feeling better than what you did when you started! Keep up the good work everyone!

No quitting allowed though. Has anyone ever tried the muscle milk shakes really good and extremely filling!! Enjoy your day everyone :)
Hey Bitts, I drink the muscle milk on the lifting days after i work out. I have the light version i picked up at Sams Club with the rest of the goodies i am living on. I feel much better after a workout when i drink that!
Welcome New Pilgrim - it is never to late to join we are all either in week 1 or 2- glad to have you! I did not get my run in today yet so evening it will be.
Trashman - I do have some recipes and I will try and put a few on here. A couple easy things I do is I purchase the 99% fat free grouund turkey breast and use it for meatloaf and also for turkey tacos - just use whole wheat tortillas - really good and then you have left overs which make for great lunches or dinner the next night. Just add taco seasoning and any veggies and salsa. When I do the meatloaf - I add an egg or egg beaters and bread crumbs and I recently found a recipe that uses A1 sauce - I will try to find the measurements and let you know the exacts but really good and A1 doesn't have all the sugar that ketchup does and it gave it a nice kick. My husband doesn't follow this program but he eats whatever I make for dinner same as my girls and they all love it!
cool, thanks! i actually bought the body for life recipes book yesterday on amazon. hoping it has some good recipes. meatloaf sounds good! right now have just been eating turkey sandwiches with lettuce and a protein shake and a piece of fruit and zone bars and myoplex bars but that will get old quick. good thing is i am off this week so it is easy to just make a sandwich or whatever. next week when i go back to work will be a lil bit more tough because got to remember to pack a bunch of stuff to eat through the day. just have to plan more.
alright time to go do my LBWO and i think i will do the eliptical for a half hour after.

greetings team! Daily check in / accountability for today I hit the gym for lunch and took my kettlebells with me did a combat routine i found totally explosive and very VERY demanding lol.
. I can do all of the exercises except the swing/lunge I that part is still a work in progress :) did 3 rounds and finished my workout with a series floor wipers coupled with box jumps.. got a great sweat going on lol... Keep it up everyone Coming up on the end of week 2 for me.. aloha all
Good morning Feb BFL gang! Day 11 for us that started the first week in February. I did LBWO today and have to say i am really learning a lot about myself. I know i am dialing in on those 10's pushing myself hard! I had a strange realization this morning driving to work. Day 11 I thought, I took a second to reflect on that accomplishment. As I thought about it I really started to think less about day 11 and more about my new lifestyle. I am feeling great, eating great, soon to be looking great! Why see today as day 11? This is a lifestyle choice, I think that is the purpose of a 12 week program. To make new habits and drop old bad habits. It felt like a real zen moment and it was only 6:45 AM! Sorry it just might be the Mioplex talking….

Good morning glad to see everyone is doing so well!!!! Did one on one boxing today omg what a workout!!! Also got my butt handed to me by an 80 year old man in pilates class LOL actually worked out so hard feel like i'm gonna puke ok maybe TMI keep up the great work all!!!!
Island Dude....watched that video....you are a beast, WOW. I woul struggle doing that without the weights, never mind with them....lol....you da man !
Motivated myself half hour ago.......You know you are focused when...your wife brings home chicken, fries, wine, rolls, ect. You peel the skin off the chicken and put it on a whole wheat wrap while drinking water to your wifes red vino.......haha I strong, hear me roar......night all, enjoy the weekend !
