Hey Snowgirl and rest of Nov Gang....I am still rippin excited. Alot of what snow said works for me too so ty snowgirl. Interestingly I have lost only about a couple pounds but my clothes are fitting looser. I am-was- a male 228lbs with a 40 waist. I am now 225 and 38 that fit right not tight. I bought 36 clothes last week for next month. I am a high yellow in tae kwon do so my skills are increasing rapidly. I am tieing in weight goals with my belt. I will be under 215 by my green belt testing in February and size 36. I will buy a size 34 waist then for the summer.
My cheat days are a weekend blur...I am not 100% strict there. For the meals weekly...Tupperware is my secret. Buy alot of small containers and prepare in advance.
DO NOT RUSH THIS....you are not on a program....you will then come OFF the program. You in a program that has no exit so move in slow and stay forever.....Mike (2nd time doing BFL....yes I came off...wrong mindset first time)
Hi everyone.
I'm on my 2nd free day so I've just finished my 2nd week. Yay! My stomach feels not so bloated in 2 weeks and I'm so full of energy. Thismorning i'm going to have breakfast with a friend..probably bacon and eggs or something and really looking forward to it. I found that on my free day last week that i didn't enjoy the crappy food as much and i woke up in the middle of the night feeling gross. I couldn't wait to eat good food again. So hopefully today is the same and I don't over indulge. If i do...I'll just get back on the wagon again tomorrow. You know what though.. I know already that i'm not going to over indulge because my mind is so strong now and i am really focused. I feel like I'm programmed every morning to just head down the BFL track with training and eating. I did BFL 11 years ago when i was 25 and I would wake up every day resisting everything and I didn't plan ahead and I didn't enjoy it. This time feels different and it feels like it's part of me and it's just something I have to do everyday. I'm actually really enjoying it.
Keep up the great work and motivation everyone.
Onto week 3..good luck
Ok, I made it through Monday without weighing myself. My uniform fit a tiny bit looser today. I can see subtle changes in my body and I was able to pass up birthday cake yesterday since I had just had my cheat day the day before. This BFL program almost seems fun or maybe I'm just exited because I'm taking control to change what I look like and it's working. Today was a great start for week 3.
Just finished another great week!! I'm so proud of myself cause I've hung in there and did all my workouts and ate properly. I can feel my confidence soaring. Today is my cheat day and I've got it all planned out after my morning workout. After passing up a ton of desserts yesterday at our work pre-Thanksgiving dinner I'm ready to get a little dessert today.
Hope you all are doing well on your journey too. Have a great weekend!!
