Has anyone else experienced any of this...
Firstly, I have become ridiculously thirsty since starting bfl just over a week ago. usually I drink about 1.5l a day but I have found myself still being thirsty after 3litres! Strange thing is, im not going to the toilet as much as usual either so is all that water really in my muscles?
Also, I feel very light when im moving around. Lighheaded in a bad way isnt the word, just empty and airy almost. I also keep getting a rush through my veins during the day, almost like adrenaline (blood sugar maybe?). Not sure whether thats good or bad?? Could it be due to the drop in carbs?
Aside from all this though, I feel great, lots of energy, sleeping better etc. After first week I lost 4lbs, 1 inch off my waist, 0.5 inch off hips, 0.5 inch off arms and 1 inch off each thigh.
Any expert advice would be greatly appreciated.
Your are doing just fine. 1.5L of water is really wayyy under what you would need day to day anyways, so drinking more now is a very good thing! Lots of active people like to set the standard of water per day at around 1 gallon (about 3 3/4L.) Of course a lot of this has to do with the fact that you're pushing your body so hard, which makes you lose a lot more water than you'd think via sweat! So drink away!
And that light feeling you get? It's called eating clean and working out. That's just how it feels, you'll get used to it and want to have it all of the time :) As long as you're not always hungry or feeling low on energy, which are signs of not eating enough, sounds like you're doing fine.

Are you taking any sort of supplements/fat burners?

Just make sure you're getting a fist-sized serving of carbs, and a palm size serving of protein at each of your six meals, per the program guidelines. You can take a supplement like a protein shake for one or two meals. Drinking 3 to 4 liters per day of water is a good thing. Feeling lighter is also good, in that your body is now ready for a more active lifestyle, and the more intense level of excercise you're doing. This will not feel weird afte a few weeks - it will feel very right and good. Humans weren't designed to overeat and lounge around doing nothing....we originated as hunter-gatherers.
