“I broke my left forearm back in July of 2003, and it was this past June before I could even work out again,” Chris says. “Since I’m in a wheelchair, and I can’t get around without my arms, I gained 30 pounds of fat.” Once Chris accepted the Challenge four weeks ago, he increased his weights lifted from 15 pounds to 35 pounds, and lost 10 percent body fat. “I started charting what I eat, calories per day, protein intake, calories burned and workouts,” Chris says. “If my forearm stays together this time, I feel I will have a very good chance to finish the 12-week Challenge.”
