Christian Storsso from Norway —
Not even Norway’s winter season could stop Christian Storsso from meeting his transformation goals. With temperatures in the low teens, icy roads and lots of snow, Storsso resisted the urge to stay in his warm bed to get up at 5:30 a.m. and exercise. Having competed in previous Challenges with his wife, he had surgery that led him into two months of inactivity and bad eating habits. Through the inspiration of his pregnant wife, he entered the Challenge to regain the “…good feeling of being in the best possible shape.” Turning negatives into positives, he saw the Challenge as an opportunity to rebuild his self-discipline, confidence and to prove to himself that he can do anything. Setting weekly goals as motivation, he used his successes as building blocks for better results. Lowering his weight, body fat composition and waist size, Storsso now has the energy to give to his growing family. “I realized that I can’t always blame myself for falling down. But I’m the only one to blame if I don’t get up and finish the race.”
