Q: Describe your life before the Body-for-LIFE Challenge?
I was depressed, lazy and unmotivated to really live my life.

Q: What made you finally decide to take that first step and enter the Challenge?
When my own grandmother told me I was “Large” and then I looked in the mirror and saw what was really there.

Q: What were your very first impressions of the program? Did you struggle or was it liberating?
The very first impression I had was that this would be hard-Mainly the nutrition plan, because I love to eat!

Q: Talk about the moment you first began to see changes in your body and/or outlook?
The first week I lost 9 lbs. and my entire outlook changed. I was more motivated and excited because I knew this could work.

Q: How did you feel on the very last day of your Challenge?
I had done something very difficult and accomplished the biggest challenge of my life. I was standing on the peak of the largest mountain, looking down on the world.

Q: What was the reaction of your friends and family to the amazing changes you made?
They were blown away! Everyone was so inspired by my outcome and ready to be where I was and happy with themselves to using Body-for-LIFE.

Q: Do you still follow the Body-for-LIFE program?
YES, I still follow the program-on and off the road.

Q: If someone were to ask your advice about starting—and finishing—the Challenge, what would you tell them?
My advice would be to put all of your confidence in this program because it works; and believe in yourself. You can persevere and do THIS!

Q: How has your life changed since doing the Challenge?
I have lots more energy. I am more passionate and inspired in life and work. My back is completely pain free!

Q: Where do you think you’d be if you had never done the Challenge?
Oh….about 280 pounds and my music career would be over. I would have no self confidence and no drive to do anything!

Q: After going through the 12 Weeks, how was your mindset different than it was before? Where you able to face challenges in your life with more confidence?
Yes for Sure. Every time a challenge arises, I say “I did BFL and lost 52 lbs. I can do this!” BFL was my biggest obstacle ever.

Q: What is your favorite free day meal?
PIZZA! and more Pizza….but only on Sunday of course.

Q: How have you spread the word of Body-for-LIFE to other folks?
It’s my screensaver (my before and after picture) which brings up a lot of conversation, anywhere I take my laptop. I talk about it everywhere I go and to everyone that talks about fitness (which is all of us).

Q: What are your current goals?
Fitness Goals: To maintain weight loss, and put on muscle mass.

Q: Quotes that inspire?

Q: Define Success?
Living your purpose completely in every day.

Q: Any Final Thoughts?
I would love to add that I did do this “by the Book”. I ate and worked out as outlined by the Body-for-LIFE Book and only did the protein shakes for the majority of the time. Body-for-LIFE had everything that I needed to get my love handles up off the floor. This program works and anyone can do it!
