Challenge Tip

The bathroom scale can fool you into thinking that you are making little to no progress. Frequent weight-checks on the scale leads to one thing: frustration. You see, the scale will only tell you one thing... how much you weigh at any given time. Your overall body weight can fluctuate throughout the day due to fluids and foods in your body. You are shooting for real change in your overall body composition and health, not a number on a scale. By the way... get a body composition assessment! It's the best way to gauge your true progress.

Thanks Simone...I feel like my first week went well. Just trying to work in all the meals and planning a day ahead my meal plan. Not a big meat eater so trying my best to get my protein in. I had to skip weight lifting one day because my left tricep was really hurting me. Feeling good today so will be back at it tomorrow. One week down, eleven more to go!

Motivational Tip

I gained inspiration to complete the Challenge by creating a 2 ½-minute video of my transformation. Each day I added three seconds, wearing the same bikini and standing in the same place. After adding each day’s footage, I’d watch it from the start. That’s how I learned that each day matters.
